"Uh...Jason?" I asked with my eyes still on the bed.
"Yea?" He asked walking up behind me.
I turned around and looked at him.
"There's one bed." I gestured towards the bed.
"And?"
"I..I don't wanna...sleep in the same bed as you." I said quietly.
"Well if we sleep in two..and something happens to you..I won't feel you move or get up." He put his hand on my shoulder.
"Let's just say it's for safety reasons." He said smirking.
I rolled my eyes, and walked into the bathroom to take a shower.
I stripped down, and entered the shower. I washed my long brown hair, I put my hands on the wall, and actually realized what happened in the past 24 hours.
Damn.
My parents died, Jason's parents died. And never get to see them again.
I probably won't even get to see Chloe again.
I have to see her. She my best friend.
I was the cause of all of this. I made my parents die, and Jason's parents.
That's something that will stay with you forever. Like a tether around your heart that you can't cut.
I got out, and threw on a pair of sweats, and tank top that Jason gave to me.
Before I opened the door I pause, and realized something.
My seventeenth birthday is tomorrow.
I ran out, and Jason stood up frighten.
"What is it? Everything okay?!?" He asked grabbing my hands.
I looked down.
"My seventeenth birthday is...tomorrow."
He let go of my hands, and stared at me tensely.
"We're leaving first thing in the morning. You won't get hurt I promise. You need to get in bed though. You only slept in the car about an hour."
I nodded, and got into the bed.
I felt Jason get into the bed, and drape a arm over my waist.
I frowned.
"If you don't put pillows in between us in five seconds or less, I will go sleep in the bath tub. And don't doubt me Jason." I said.
I felt him slowly back away, but he still had his eyes on me.
I tried to fall asleep but I couldn't.
I mean my parents died today, insane people are after me, and my seventeenth birthday is tomorrow.
When I was half asleep I felt Jason pull me into his chest.
And I had to admit, it made me feel safer.
I fell into a deep sleep.

***Next morning***
I fluttered my eyes open, to a hard chest.
I looked up to find...
Jason.
I shot up out of bed, running hand through my hair.
I can't believe I fell for that.
But it was pretty nice.
No. Riley. No.
I went to look at our view from our window, and something caught my eye.
Black SUV, and men with suits, and ties.
