****flashback one year ago****

It was an hour after school, and I was laying on my bed listening to music humming.

I get up, and start combing the tangles out of my brown hair.

I hear a car pull up outside, and I look out the window to see what it is.

Two men got out of a black SUV dressed in a suit and tie. They looked pretty serious, but I didn't think anything of it.

It's probably one of those people who come and try to sell stuff to you.

I sat back down, and went back to listening to my music.

About five minutes went by when I heard yelling.

It's probably just Jason getting into another argument about football with my mom.

Curious to find out what it was I went down stairs to find my mom and Jason, yelling at the men at the door.

"W..what's going on?" I said loud enough so they could hear me.

Everyone paused, and looked at me tensely.

My dad came up behind me and glanced at Jason.

Jason grabbed my wrist, and pulled me into my dad's office, and locked the door behind him.

"What's going on?!?" I yelled at him.

I ran toward the door, but immediately got pulled back.

"Jason! You have to let me out. I need to see what's going on!" I yelled at him.

"I can't let you out Riley. It's to..it's to..it's just not something you need to see." He said.

"Fine but you have to tell me who those men are." I said crossing my arms.

"I can't." He said looking down.

"Wha...why not?!?" I said getting a little angry.

Those were my parents out there I had a right to know.

"Riley, it's your safety. I..I can't." He said with his eyes piercing through mine.

"Screw safety. Those are my parents."

I ran quickly before he could grab me. I swung open the door, to find both my parents fighting off the men. With punches in kicks.

I ran back in the office. With my mouth open, wishing that I wouldn't of seen that.

Tears welling up in my eyes, I started to hyperventilate.

"Riley..what's wrong?!?" Jason said grabbing my hands.

"Pa...panic attack."

And the darkness sank in.

****end of flashback****

"Riley? Are you okay?" Chloe said breaking me out of my trance.

"Wha..y..yea I'm fine. Just memories that's all." I said fake smiling.

God. I really wish she didn't say that name. I must have forgotten everything from that day..because I didn't remember anything until she brought up his name.

And now he's going to the party I'm going to.

Greatttttt.

We got to the house, and I could already here the music blasting from inside.

I got out, and immediately started to get looks from the pervy guys.

Me and Chloe walked up together, and entered the house.

"I'm going to go dance!" She said yelling into my ear.

I didn't want to dance, so I went out in the back yard, and sat by the pool just thinking.

What do my parents really do?

For all I know they are stay at home parents. Except my dad helps the local fire station once and a while.

I heard foot steps behind me. I jumped, and turned around.

I was met with those big green eyes staring into mine.

Jason.
