Chapter 5:
Pulling up to the mansion with all the teenager wolfs in I silently cursed myself for dressing up. Today my mother pulled me aside at breakfast and told me to look nice and drive over to the pack house and talk to the alpha about whatever he wanted to talk to me about. I looked into the mirror in my car to see my hair half up clipped back with a white bow in the back. My makeup done so well with gold and brown eye shadow letting my dark brown eyes sparkle. I wore dark boot cut jeans with tan boots under them. I wore a white top with a cream colored sweater and a tan scarf to match my boots.
I grabbed my phone sticking it in my pocket and getting out of my car and quickly rushing to the door due to the cold. Knocking I shook in my place waiting for the door to open, I jumped a tad as a young man maybe around the age of myself opened it up. He smiled a white small smile and stepped to the side letting me in. I smiled at him carefully.
“Hey Mike, where is Alpha Todd?” I asked for my uncle.
“In his office follow me,” he said shutting the door from the cold winter wind. I waited for him to shut and lock it and then he continued to walk forward and walks down a hall to the very end, he quickly stepped to the side as he opened a large door. I walked in and heard the door shut behind me. “Todd,” I growled.
“Kristy dearest! Have a seat.” He glared at me.
“Hey you, what do you want to talk about?” I smiled at him.
“I heard about your mother.” He frowned completely ignoring our small joke we made up years ago.
“She’s your sister of course you did.” I sighed, “What do you want to talk about?” I asked changing the subject. My mother was a touchy subject with me.
“Well your mother and I talked about you finding a mate since you were just a little orange. But since your mother is dyeing and you haven’t found your mate it is customary that you marry a wolf of our pickings in our own pack. And your mother and I both agreed that you would be placed with one of the higher leveled boys.” He spit out as fast as he could.
“What?” I screamed at the top of my lungs standing up letting the chair I was sitting in slam to the ground, you could hear silence fall around the house and you could smell fear. I growled a loud growl shaking the plants and small things on his desk.
“Please calm down dear,” he asked sighing a little.
