----

I woke to the birds singing and the sun shining through my curtains. I shifted and turned to my side. The side of the bed next to me was empty, but a note was left at the side of the bed. Labelled. From your best friend.

"I'm sorry."

"I remember that day, like it was yesterday. I immediately knew, what he was about to do. I couldn't stop him, he was in pain and I knew. But I couldn't stop him.

I ran to the top of the building and climbed mountains and mountains of stairs, feeling my weight become heavier with each step and deep down, I knew it was too late. A bottle of whiskey, placed at the side and his shoes laid where his feet once touched the ground. There was already a crowd gathering round at the bottom. So I sat down and sobbed. My best friend was-is dead." I took a deep breath in as i stood up and walked out of the room.

3 months later.

The flowers were replaced with new ones. His grave was covered with moss, I tried to remove some.

Everything felt, grey. He would have rather had a golden stone. A vibrant one like he was.

I placed the letter on his grave

"To my dearest friend..."

"Saranghae Taehyung."

A tear slid down my cheek and fell onto the grave stone that I was resting my head on. "I wish you were here."

"He is here. And he forgives you, Jungkook."

I turned my head and smiled. "Thank you, (Y/N)"
