I ran down the stairs like the speed of lightning to get to my presents. "SANTA CAME!! SANTA CAME!!LOOK MUM SANTA CAME!!" I dived under the tree into the sea of presents searching for my present from Santa.
"Found it!" My mum chuckled, I looked at her for a moment. "What are you waiting for, open it!" I didn't wait and ripped off the decorated wrapping paper and saw what caused my dark brown eyes to widen and my pink lips to turn into a smile.
"A-a puppy?"
My mother smiled.
"We can keep him, but not every single day because of work. He can stay at Grandmas and we can visit him!"
I hugged the golden puppy. It was sooooo small, I think it was a labro-labri-labradaro! "I will see him every, every, every day!!!" I kissed the puppy on the forehead as it wriggled around. My eyes welled up with tears, I got a puppy..."I'm gonna name you...Huffington!!"
"Huffington?" My father looked bemused and chuckled at my childish antics. "I like it. Jeon Huffington, welcome to the family! And MERRY CHRISTMAS!" My father bent down and shook Huffington's paw which made my mother and I giggle.
"More presents, kookie?" Mum asked as she bent down to stroke Huffington.
"YES PLEASE!" Huffington licked my face which caused all of us to erupt in laughter.
I will remember this Christmas forever!
