Chapter 3- The talk!

"Well, that was dome damn amazing party!" Scarlett Gray squealed for what seemed like the tenth time that day. It was day time in London all humans have gone to work and Ella was no different. For humans it was hard to find a job those days-other than being a slave- vampires and werewolves got almost every ‘presentable’ job so humans stuck to working in small shops and night clubs.

"You know you have said that already over fifteen times?!" Ella whined as she re-arranged the stacks of dresses.

"Really! Oh well, I just can't help it. It was really damn amazing" Scarlett sheepishly said. Ella rolled her eyes in annoyance and counted '16 ' in her head.

"You know you are the only person in the whole kingdom who isn't at least grateful for going to a party like those?!" Scarlett exclaimed throwing her hands in the air.

"Sorry?" Ella said it in a questioning tone before continuing "Scar, you more than anyone know pretty well that I don't care about parties or getting drunk." She said matter-of -fact

"You are boring!" Scarlett sighed loudly making Ella chuckle.

"Why thank you!" Ella said winking resulting in Scarlett shaking her head laughing.

Scarlett is Ella’s closest and dearest friend ever. She is the same age as Ella, Scarlett looks just like Ella except that she has flaming red hair and that she is an inch taller than Ella. The two girls have known each other since the day they were born. Their families were two of the richest families in the country back then before the war. Their parents used to be great friends too. Both girls lost their fathers during the war. Ella lost her father as he tried to save her and Scarlett lost hers trying to save him. Ella couldn’t help but feel so guilty she kept thinking that she is the reason her father and Scarlett’s are now dead. If her father didn’t try to save her he wouldn’t have died, if she has been more careful nothing of that would have happened.

“El?” Scarlett’s voice broke the brown haired girl from her dark thoughts. She turned her attention to her best friend who set her lips into a thin line and crossed her arms over her chest.

“HUH?” Ella said shaking her head from side to side to clear it.

“You didn’t hear a word from what I said, did you?” Scarlett said already knowing the answer.

“No, sorry.” Ella said as an apology “What were you saying?”

Scarlett shook her head from side to side in annoyance she was already used to Ella sinking in her thought while they were talking but that didn’t mean it didn’t annoy her. Ella raised her eyebrow questioningly waiting for her friend to spill what she wanted to say. “There is a super-hot vampire here who wants to see you! " Scarlett said her baby-blue eyes not leaving the man wearing a dark blue hoodie with the hood pulled up covering half his face, tight black skinny jeans with a pair of NIKE shoes.

Ella frowned and gave Scar a look before walking towards the vampire with a fake smile- that she had to put on during work-

"Hello Sir! Can I help you?" she asked politely. The man smiled and nodded before looking up and letting the hood covering his face fall back.

"Ian!" Ella gasped a real smile breaking onto her face "What are you doing here?!" she asked shocked.

Johnathan shrugged “I wanted to see you, so I asked about your work place and here am I!" he exclaimed grinning. Ella shook her head still smiling at the vampire she has known for less than twenty-four hours.
