Tainted Night

Chapter 16- confession

It was after midnight, the sky was dark and it was raining heavily. Rain drops fell on Ella as she laid unconscious on the sand. As the thunder hit she jumped up from her laying position and took in her surrounding the place was bare of any buildings or people only sand and mountains. The only light came from the moon and stars that shone extra bright. But as Ella started to raise shadows started to slowly form making a circle around her- surrounding her.

"Hello?" she called out hoping those shadows were real and she wasn't hallucinating and that maybe they were some people she knew.

The shadows kept sweeping towards her till they formed a circle around her they were ten shadows in total. Slowly they started to take the shapes of humans they were wearing cloaks with the hood pulled low covering their faces, they stood so still that they could be statues.

 

"H-hello?" Ella squeaked as she walked towards the cloaked person in front of her. The cloaked person's head snapped up revealing only bright red eyes- the eye colour of a hungry vampire.

The hood fell back from the person's head revealing Edward's face but he looked different- so utterly different that Ella took a step back in fear. Instead of the calm and friendly face that comforted you he looked angry and blood thirsty. His fangs were out and he was gritting his teeth. The veins under his eyes were visible and his skin was paper pale.

"Edward!" Ella gasped and stumbled backwards hitting someone's chest. Ella quickly jumped away from the person and turned around to see Daniel looking at her with glowing golden eyes. There were wolves standing in a semi-circle around him and they looked ready to attack her. Stumbling away she looked around her as the hoods fell away from the cloaked people faces.

 

Johnathan stood beside his brother looking as angry and blood thirsty as him. Elena stood on the other side of Edward her hands were glowing a red glow. Beside her was Scarlett who had grown large black wings that were fluttering behind her and she was floating in the air. Her flaming red her waving around in the air. Beside Scarlett was a woman that Ella had never seen before but for a strange reason she looked familiar, she had a head of blonde hair and bright green eyes her hands were also glowing red. Beside her was a girl that made Ella chock on her own breath.

 

"Ellie?" Ella gasped as she stared at her aunt who looked so utterly beautiful as she has always been. Her blond hair looked soft and it fell down to her waist her blue eyes were bright and her pink full lips were pulled back into a smile that sent shivers down Ella's spine. Ella looked at the person beside her aunt and the first tear fell from her eyes.

"Daddy?!" she cried as she took in the shock of seeing her face standing in-front of her. He looked young like he had always looked. His blond hair fell over his forehead and his blue eyes were twinkling as he too smiled at her slowly his eyes turned red and he grew fangs as veins appeared under his eyes, Ella let out a scream and looked at her aunt who looked the same as her father with her fangs out.

 

Ella walked backwards and hit the chest of someone they quickly captured her hands and held them behind her back as she struggled against their grip.  "Let me go!" she screamed but the person behind her didn't move. Unexpectedly there was the sound of heels clicking against the ground Ella's head snapped towards the direction of the sound as Edward and Johnathan stepped aside revealing a woman that looked no older than nineteen. She had ginger coloured hair and hazel eyes her lips were painted red and her face was elegantly made up. She wore a sleeve-less black dress with a lacy top. The dress fell to the ground in waves and it was almost transparent. Ella's family and friends all got down on one knee to kneel as the girl walked surely and quietly towards Ella who was watching her carefully not sure what to expect from the woman.
