-Host Club-Noon-Day 3-
"If this situation continues, we're going to have to stop offering the brotherly love package." Kyoya stated, pressing numbers on his calculator as the hosts sat at a long table. "Our designee rate is definitely down." He sighed.
"Oi! That's not what the issue is at the moment, Kyo!" Y/N snapped, banging one of her fists on the table as she glared at him.
"Oh, yes, you're correct. Haruhi, this isn't something that you should feel responsible for." Kyoya falsely smiled at the commoner male. "Even though your thoughtless comment was the cause of this fight."
He's clearly blaming me. Haruhi sweatdropped.
"Hika-chan and Kao-chan fighting with each other...It's never happened before, huh?" Honey asked, frowing as he messed around with Bun-Bun in his arms.
"Right." Y/N said while Mori nodded in agreement.
"Is that right?" Haruhi asked, surprised.
"I've known them since pre-school. We weren't in the same year, so I never talked to them, but it seemed like they always played together." Honey told him.
"Every time I'd come to visit Neko-kun I'd always catch sight of them. They were always alone, just the two of them. I tried to become their friend, but it seemed it was always just them against the world." Y/N sighed, looking lost in thought as she slumped in her seat.
"You're right. I've only known them since middle school, but they really stood aloof." Tamaki stated. "It seemed like, except for themselves, they kept everyone at a distance. Their personalities were several times more warped than they are now." Tamaki said, smiling in rememberance. "Thinking about it that way, maybe this fighting is a turn for the better. It means that their world is starting to get a little larger, doesn't it? Maybe it's best to leave them alone, under the circumstances." He said.
Y/N frowned, looking unsure about this fact.

-Ouran Middle School-5 years ago/2 years ago-
The (H/C) was quietly walking by Umehito's side as the two made their way to his school.
"You haven't said a word since you've talked to Morinozuka-kun." Umehito finally spoke up since the day before, when Y/N had told her crush that she would never see him again because of a certain mission. "Are you ok?" He cautiously questioned.
"I'm fine, it's just..." Y/N paused, glancing at the star filled sky. "I'm going to miss you, Umehito." She said softly, looking at the dark clothed male in surprise as he suddenly grabbed her hand.
"We'll see each other again some day, Belzenef is sure of it!" Umehito exclaimed, causing Y/N to giggle softly. Umehito smiled as the two got to the school entrance.
Having gotten to the school far before the sun had risen because of Umehito's condition, so barely even the teachers had arrived yet to the school.
"Just stay safe till then, ok?" Umehito murmured, taking one of Y/N's hands in his.
"I'll do my very best, Neko-kun." Smiled Y/N.
Umehito slowly nodded, before gently kissing the female's cheek and then going into the school building.
"Who are you?" Hearing a blunt tone, Y/N jumped out of being startled and turned around with an innocent smile.
"No one important, I'm just dropping off a friend." She said innocently.
"We don't care." Said one of the males.
Y/N blinked, before her (H/C) bangs casted a shadow over her (E/C) hues when the two males began to walk past her.
She remembered how after making the game of Hide & Seek, in which was the time that the female had first met Umehito, her older brother had forbade her from ever talking to the twins again. It was just the way that he was, she learned as she got older. And though she was glad he had stopped her from becoming friends with such warped boys, she felt a certain pity in her chest at the thought that she could have done something to change the outcome.
"Kaoru, Hikaru, I do hope that you finally make friends with someone you deserve." She said.
The two stopped in surprise, turning to look at the female, except she was already out of sight. Frowning, they gripped at each other's hands.

-UNKNOWN-Time Machine-Present-
"Why won't you work you piece of junk?!" Y/N shouted, kicking at the podium of the button panel.
"Hey now, what did the poor thing ever do to you?" A chuckle caught the female's attention as she sent the youngest Hitachiin a glare.
"It stranded me in 2015 to babysit six boys." She coldly replied. "What're you doing here, Kaoru?" Y/N asked, moving a stray (H/C) strand behind her ear.
"Well going home means I have to be with Hikaru, and the others are busy." Kaoru explained.
Y/N clicked her tongue, moving to get back under the panel. "So I'm your last resort." She clarified, messing with a couple of the wires that were hanging out.
"W-well no, not exactly." Kaoru nervously stuttered out, tapping his index fingers together. "I was just sure that Hikaru was with you, though." He said.
"He's not." Y/N calmly replied. "Since you're here, can you hand me the pliers?" She questioned.
"Uh..." Kaoru glanced at the various tools that were lying around the time machine.
"It's near the door." Y/N stated.
Kaoru quickly grabbed the requested tool, in which Y/N thanked him for as he handed it to her.
"What're you working on?" The blue haired male asked interested.
"The time clock. It's been spinning nonstop so I gotta reset it. In order to do that, I need to fix the panel." Y/N explained.
"You know a lot about fixing things." Kaoru said, almost in awe at the female.
"Most things, anyways." Y/N told him, flinching as one of the wires zapped at her finger. "There's some things that can never be fixed." She sighed, sitting up and looking at the male who was leaning over the panel, watching her intently. "Like relationships."
"You're talking about Hikaru's and my dispute." Kaoru sighed, crossing his arms over his chest, a defense mechanism Y/N noticed was particularly different between the twins. While Hikaru always held his hands behind his back when he was nervous, Kaoru held his infront. "I'm sure it'll be over soon once he gets over his stubbornness." The younger male stated.
"Unfortunately, stubbornness runs in your family." Y/N wryly smiled.
"You're stubborn too." Kaoru defended himself.
"Mmm...But that's different." Y/N replied, causing him to sweatdrop. The (H/C) sighed and wiped her hands onto her jeans, before standing up. "I'm in the mood for some (F/Sweet). Want to come to the bakery with me?" She offered.
"Huh?" Kaoru looked startled.
"You might be more helpful than your brother, but you know absolutely nothing when it comes to fixing machines. I'm not going to bore you, so let's go out." The female stated, oblivious to the pink that dusted the flustered male's cheeks.
"Alright then." Kaoru agreed, nodding his head.
Y/N smiled. "Let me grab some shoes." She said, before rushing into the seperated room.
Kaoru hesitantly wandered after her, leaning against the doorway as he watched the (H/C) staring at a rack of shoes. "How can you figure out the differences between Hikaru and I so easily?" He questioned.
"Hmm...?" Y/N blinked, looking over at Kaoru before she sincerely smiled. "I know who my friends are!" She cheerfully chirped, once more surprising the male.
"I...see..." Kaoru murmured, a small smile covering his lips. "I'd go with the black (boots/VANS/Converse/Flats), they match your shirt." He instructed her.
"Thanks, Kaoru!"

-Next Day-Day 4-Present-
The twins were once more throwing things at one another. Creating a mess in the 'abandoned' music room.
"After going this long, haven't you gotten over it yet?" Tamaki asked, flabbergasted. "You brothers are putting us out." He said.
"We're putting you out?! We're putting you out, you say?!" Hikaru shouted. "You've got to be kidding! I'm the one who's put out! I'm the one who's got the same face as Kaoru. I'm sick and tired of being mistaken for you! The truth is, I hate your guts!" He insisted.
"You took the words right out of my mouth. Look at this!" Kaoru exclaimed, pulling out a wooden Belzenef doll. "I bought this from Nekozawa-senpai!" He shouted, causing Tamaki to hide behind an irritated Y/N. "I'm writing your name on this thing's back, Hikaru. From here on, you're going to meet with lots of misfortune and sorrow!" he shouted.
As Y/N began to roll up the sleeves of her jacket, Haruhi had already beaten her to punching both of the brothers. "Enough already! You don't go bringing something like this into a simple quarrel! You both are to blame for this fight, but you're even more to blame for bothering everyone around you with it! Now say you're sorry! If you don't make up right now, then I'll never let you come over, as long as I live!" Haruhi scolded.
As soon as she saw their smirks, Y/N facepalmed.
"Then, if we do make up, Haruhi, we can come over to your house, right?" They asked, slinking around him like a Cheshire cat.
Haruhi looked confused, before turning the doll around and seeing the words 'Fooled ya' on the back. "HAAAAAA?!" He screamed.
"I'm sorry, Kaoru. Even thought I was just following our script, I'm not fit to be your brother, to say such awful things to you." Hikaru apologized as the twins wrapped their arms around each other.
"Not at all. I'm the one who was terribly worried about what I would do if I hurt you, Hikaru." Kaoru insisted.
"Y/N, where are you going?" Honey questioned as the (H/C) began to walk towards the doors of the host club.
"I need to fix my time machine, I can't stand being in the presence of these idiots much longer." The female grumbled, slamming the door behind her. "Twins with too much time...are the devil." She murmured.

-Next Day-
"Okay, let's play the 'Which one is Hikaru?' game!" the twins beamed as they stood in front of their guests, hair colors still pink and blue.
"Um, the one with pink hair is Hikaru-kun." The guest with short hair stuttered out.
"We have a winner!" The twins cheered with a closed eyed smile.
"You may have made up, but your hair will still stay that way for a while, huh?" Asked one of the other females. "Still, I'm glad it's easier to tell now." She smiled.
"Actually, it's not." Y/N, who was walking by with her toolbox, stated. This caused the others to look at her in confusion. Y/N grinned at the twins. "I told you that I know who my friends are, right? Today, the pink one is Kaoru, and the blue one is Hikaru. You can also tell because Hikaru looks more like a flamingo, and Kaoru can actually pull off the pink look." She winked at them jokingly, before walking out the door that led to the Blackmagic room, where she kept her tools stored.
The twins tightened their hold on eachother's hands as they watched the (H/C) walk away.
