In the middle of a road, the body of a women laid on the ground, her eyes staring blankly at the sky above. She could hear a car approaching, but it didn't make her move, she didn't even flinch as headlights came closer and became brighter.
"Oh, my God" A voice yelled inside the car, as it came to a screeching stop.
The female driver got out of the car, jogging forward to the women's still body, fear written all over her face. She bent down beside her, checking her desperately over for any injuries, the adrenaline kicking in.
"Ms? Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She fires out rapidly, noticing the women's eyes are wide open, but with a void look filling them.
"No" A small voice replied, with no clear emotion in the voice "It hurts. It hurts all over, and I don't know how to make it stop"
The driver gulped "Okay. I'm-I'm Cindy. You're going to be okay. I'll go get a blanket from my car, then I'll call an ambulance. You will be okay, I promise" Getting to her feet, she jogs back over to the car, searching quickly for the blanket and phone.
Grabbing the phone, she dialed 911 and pressed it to her ear, searching through everything the boot for the blanket. When she found, she began to walk back toward the women, stopping when the call was finally answered "Hello. There's been an accident. I don't know exactly what's happened, but-"
Before she can finish, the phone is snatched from her hand, thrown to the ground with a brutal force. Her body stiffens in fear, as she looks straight ahead of her, to see no one in the road any longer. Cindy lets lump form in her throat, tears stinging the her "Please" She whispers pleadingly "Please don't hurt me"
Amelia stares at the women's back, tilting her head to the side in consideration, her eyes fixated on her neck "Three months ago, I never would of thought twice abut this. I wouldn't even be here. But now - I'm sorry"
Grabbing Cindy by the hair, she pulls her close, before piercing her fangs into her neck. A high pitched screams fills the air, before it all goes silent, and a thud of a body hitting the ground sounds. Blankly, the Evans girl just stares at the corpse for a moment, before she walks toward the now abandoned car.
She takes it without hesitation, driving away from the scene without looking back, one destination stuck inside of her mind.

Inside the Mikaelson compound, everything was quiet, only Elijah in view. He watched as Cami walked out, a defeated look on her face, and he could sense his brothers presence behind him. He glanced over at his half sibling, as small smile on his lips.
"I like her spirit" He comments genuinely, and Klaus didn't even attempt to force a small back.
Instead, he sighs and looks down, a remote look on his face "So do I"
As they turned to walk away, they sense a new presence enter the courtyard, making them freeze on the spot. Turning, their eyes widened in slight disbelief at what they saw, unsure of what to say or do.
In the middle of the courtyard, a numb Amelia stood with a bag in her hands, the faint races of blood wiped around her mouth. She looks around the familiar place, before she spots the pair upstairs, staring at her from the balcony. Biting on her lip, she allows her eyes to meet Klaus'
"You once told me, there would always be a home for me here if I needed it" She begins, before dropping her bag to floor "Well, I'm hoping that offer still stands, as I really need somewhere to call home for a while"
Klaus sped down to the ground floor, so he was stood right in front of her "You are in danger being here, love"
She scoffed, a glassy look in her eyes "I step foot inside Mystic Falls, I'll get stripped of my vampirism and die. I'd rather be here facing your demons, then mope outside the place I can no longer call home. I don't care how dangerous it is"
