It had only been a day, since Caroline and Enzo had taken Amelia to Whitmore, and left her magically locked inside an abandoned dorm room. Alaric was willing to play the long game, leave her to starve in there for a few days, until she was weak enough for him to get into her head. But, the Evans girl had other plans.
The door open, she leaned in the doorway the best she could, a smirk on her lips. She twirled her phone in her hand, trying hard not to laugh at her friends stupidity. Of course, Alaric had visited her that morning, hoping he could talk some sense into her. For a while, she played along with him, slipping his phone from his pocket when he was distracted. Just like she hoped, he hadn't realized it was even missing.
"Luke" She grinned, as she saw the blonde male twin approach "Greetings, wonder twin. I'm gonna need your help"
He rolled his eyes "I came when you called, because I wanted to apologize for what happened months ago, I never said I was going to help you"
"Oh, but you will" She corrected, the smirk not leaving her lips "Because of you, my fiance is dead and so is one of my friends. Because of you, I flipped my switch because the grief was making me reckless and far too emotional. So, you are going to let me out of here, or I'm going to get my revenge. Starting with your sister"
Luke glared at her, not taking the threat on his sister lightly. But, he knew that he owed her. What was going on with her, was all down to a decision that he made. He didn't regret it, it saved his sisters life, but he did feel sorry for her.
"Fine" He sighed "But, if I let you out of there, you leave me and Liv alone. We are even"
She smirked wider, giving a small nod "Deal"
She stepped back, watching patiently as he began to chant, muttering something in Latin that she'd never understand. When he opened his eyes, he glanced over at her as she slipped on her jacket, preparing to get out.
"Try it now" He said.
Walking forward, she cautiously stepped a foot over the barrier, and smiled as it didn't get trapped in the threshold. Walking fully out, she gave Luke a halfhearted clap on the shoulder, before speeding out of sight to find someone to feed on. Before she went, she had pressed a yellow note to the door, which Luke looked at and rolled his eyes.
Sorry, not in the mood for a reality check today. - Amelia

Walking into the diner, Amelia spotted Caroline and Enzo sat together, Enzo eating as Caroline droned on and on. Slipping into a empty booth, she covered her face with a menu, and listened in carefully on their conversation.
"Do you understand the rules?" She asked, as Enzo picked at the food in front of him.
"Yeah rule one, don't mention Elena was madly in love with Damon or you'll kill me" He stated, and she hummed with a nod "Rule 2, don't reference Damon and Amelia's relationship, or what is going on with Amelia at all or you'll kill me"
The blonde nodded again "Yup"
"Rule three, wear sunscreen" He begins to mock, smirking as she shoots him a glare, rolling her eyes.
"Don't make fun of me" She says, as he smile at her "It's important that we let Elena live her new, happy, problem ignoring, zombie life the way she wants. As for Amelia, as soon as Ric gets her humanity back on, we will do what is best for her"
Enzo raised a brow "By that, you mean you let Alaric erase her memories also. You do realize how judgemental and hypocritical you are being in just one sentence? And oddly supportive"
