"Why the fuck do you have to take a shower? We're not going out and practically doing nothing for the whole day. It's fine," I patted her shoulder and tried to convince her even though I knew she would never listen to me.

We had gotten back to her apartment from the cafe and as she had told me earlier, we were just gonna stay in and watch movies or some shit. What I didn't understand was why she wanted to take a fucking shower.

"Well unlike you, I actually like being hygienic and clean. Also not to mention, someone told me today that I stink so I'm gonna have to take care of that," she frowned at me before walking towards her bathroom.

"I was just kidding, you don't stink," I tried to tell her but she shut the bathroom door behind her. "What the fuck am I supposed to do now?" I yelled while sitting on her bed so that she could hear me.

"Play whatever you want on Xbox, I don't know Stephen. You'll live without me," I heard her teasing voice from behind the bathroom door and I rolled my eyes.

I got up from her bed and moved towards the TV, turning it on and connecting her gaming console. I searched for a decent game through her pile of CD's, finally settling on Halo before grabbing a controller and moving back to her bed.

I was about to start the game when suddenly I heard Rose's phone going off. I saw her phone lying on her bedside table, on the other side of the bed. I crawled up there and grabbed her phone, seeing that it was Blake who was calling. I slid my finger across the screen to answer the call and pressed it to my ear.

"Hey man," I greeted him.

"You litt--," he was about to say something but stopped himself all of a sudden. "Noelle? What the fuck? Wait, is that you Stephen?" he seemed confused.

"Yeah it's Stephen. What's up?" I asked while chuckling.

"Why are you answering Noelle's phone? No, you know what? I don't even wanna know," he quickly said and I laughed.

"It's nothing like that. I'm at her place and she's in the shower at the moment," I explained while running my fingers through my hair.

"Yeah I'm sure it's nothing like that you lying piece of shit. I saw you guys yesterday at the party, intensely making out against the wall," he clicked his tongue and if I knew him as well as I thought I did then he'd definitely be shaking his head right now.

"Oh," was all I managed to say.  I was kinda surprised to be honest. I thought no one would be able to see us in that narrow hallway. I thought that we were being real sneaky but obviously not. I was starting to think that nothing could ever slip past Blake.

After the shock washed away I realized that I didn't even care that Blake had found out. I didn't want to keep it a secret. I never wanted to keep Rose a secret.

"You know you're lucky it was me who saw and no one else. I mean it wouldn't have been a bad thing but Noelle probably would've gotten pissed," he mentioned while laughing and my eyebrows raised up in curiosity.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"Look I can tell you really like her but I just need you to know that she's not very good with relationships. She's always been scared of commitment so give her time. Don't move too fast with her because she'll run away. She will never admit it but she's scared of love, I know she is. Don't push her to commit to you, take it slow. I'm rooting for you Stephen," he laughed towards the end and I smiled.
