I open my eyes to the sun pouring into my vision. It's blinding me. Last night, was amazing. Not the fact that Mr. Tanner was killed by some animal, but the fact that I kissed Stefan. But I'm not gonna tell anyone. At least not yet.

     I open the door to leave for school, but Jenna pulls me back and gives me a big hug.
      "Jenna, please." I push her away.
      "Have a good day, Blake." She yells as she walks into the kitchen. I walk out of my house to my car and hop into it. I through my bag into the passenger seat, then I turn on the radio.

Today on 100.6 daily news, we'll be talking about the mystery of the Mystic Falls random animal attacks. I start my car and begin to drive down the street.
Just last week, a high school student by the name of Vicki Donovan was attacked by an animal at a party. Just a few days ago, the football coach, Mr. Tanner, was found drained of his blood in the high school parking lot. Are we to believe the locals and consider it an animal attack, or is there more to the story?

     I pull into school and snag a free parking spot close to the front door. I turn off the radio, grab my bag, and get out of my car.
      "Blake!" Someone shouts from behind me. I turn around. It's Stefan.
      "Hey Stefan." He jogs over to me.
      "I just wanted to know if you needed a ride to the Founder's Ball tonight?" I totally forgot about that.
      "Oh, uh, yeah. That would be nice." He smiles.
      "Great, I'll see you later." He walks into school, and I walk over to the picnic tables. I sit next to Bonnie, who's intensely looking through a book.
      "What's that?" I ask.
      "It's this old book my ancestors had, it talks about all these crazy spells, for a witch." I laugh.
      "You really think your a witch?"
      "Yes, I do."
      "Alright, whatever you say Ms. Bonnie Bennet."

     I sit down on my bed and pull out my phone. I text Stefan. Can't wait for tonight! I sigh. I put my phone down, and then I hear Elena raising her voice downstairs. I roll my eyes and groan. I walk over to my door and press my ear against the door.
      "Elena, the watch belongs to Blake. He's the first born man in the family! It's the right thing to do!"
      "I know but Jer, I need it for the heritage display!" I step back. I don't even want to get caught up in this. The display case is for the Founder's Ball. It's to celebrate all the founding families. And the Gilbert watch needs to be on the heritage display.

     I put on a nice dress shirt and some jeans. Stefan should be here any moment. I walk downstairs, to see Stefan, already here.
"Ready to go?"
"Yeah." Jenna walks out of the kitchen.
"Have fun, you two."

Stefan pulls up to the Lockwood's. He unbuckles, and I can't help but feel like we need to talk about last night.
"Stefan... about last night."
"What about it?" I give a fake laugh.
"We got drunk," he continues. "and we kissed. It was just a mistake."
"Yeah, you're right." Something inside me just died a little. Maybe he's right, this isn't something that should happen. Last night was a mistake. We get out of the car and walk inside.

Mayor and Mrs Lockwood greet us at the door. "Blake, very nice to see you this evening." Mrs Lockwood says. Mr Lockwood looks at Stefan.
"Stefan Salvatore." He holds his hand out. The Mayor shakes it.
"Related to the founding Salvatore's?" He nods. "Well, nice to meet you. You two have fun tonight." We walk inside.

I'm drinking some alcohol, again. But it's a party, and the mayor basically adores me. I walk into the separate room, and I see a big frame saying the names of the founding families. I'm going down the list, and I come across a name. Stefan Salvatore. Seriously? Right below it. Damon Salvatore. Is this just a coincidence?

Out of the corner of my eye I see Elena fighting with Damon. She walks off I follow her outside to everyone dancing. She talks to Stefan, and then Stefan walks off. I turn around, and Damon's gone. I walk up to Elena.
"Did you see the frame inside the house. It says Damon and Stefan Salvatore lives in 1864."
      "I know, I saw that earlier." I look up to see Stefan walking off. "I'm gonna ask him, maybe it's just a coincidence." Elena nods, and I run to catch up with Stefan.

     I lost Stefan. I don't know where he is now. I've checked everywhere, except off in their garden or something. I run up over a hill to see Damon with Caroline. She looks frightened. All the sudden he... bites her. What!? Blood goes everywhere. I turn around and walk away. What... what was that??
