The Turning Point

I walk up the front steps to the house, but I see Logan Fell at the door. He turns around to me.
"Blake," he walks up to me.
"Are you gonna let me in." His pupils dilate then go back to normal. That's odd.
"Uh, no. Actually, you can leave." I walk inside and Jenna slams the door. I walk right upstairs to my room and fall asleep.

I slowly walk down the stairs. There's blood everywhere. I turn into the living room to see Jeremy on the ground, blood all over him. I let out a scream and try to walk over to him, but there's a noise in the kitchen. I run in to see Jenna with a bite mark on her neck. Elena is on the ground and yells at me to run. I turn around and I feel someone grab me from behind... and bite me.

I wake up in the morning to a sharp pain in my neck. I fell it, nothing. No bite. Maybe I just slept weird.

I hop out of my car and start to walk towards the entrance to school. Today there are colleges showing lists of jobs to get people. I hear someone grab my shoulder.
"Blake." I turn around. It's Stefan.
"I thought you left?"
"I couldn't, after I heard there's a new vampire in town."
"What?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows.
"Just, warn Elena and Bonnie. And, please, stay safe." I turn around and walk inside.

I stand next to Bonnie while she gazes at the job lists.
"Are you okay after last night?"
"I don't know how to feel. I mean, vampires, who would ever think they exist?"
"Speaking of vampires, Stefan told me there's a new one in town."
"Great, just what we need." She roles her eyes.

I walk over to the Whitmore College people and look through their opportunities. Out of the corner of my eye I see someone walk over to me.
      "So... what do you think you'll do when your older?" It's Stefan. He's watching me.
      "Look, Stefan. If you say your going to leave, the leave. I told need you looking over me." I walk in the other direction, towards the door leaving the gym, but Jenna cuts me off.
      "Hey, that creep show Logan Fell is here." Stefan walks over.
      "Logan Fell?"
      "Yeah, he was at our door last night." I look at Jenna concerned.
      "Jenna, what did he say before I got there?"
      "He was asking me to invite him in."  I look at Stefan.
      "Go hide." He tells me. I nod and grab Jenna.
      "Go find Elena, and stay with her." She walks off.

      "Stefan, I think Logan tried to compel me last night, but I put vervain in everyone's stuff. Drinks, perfume, everything."
"How could you tell?"
"His pupils... they-
"Dilated then went back to normal?"
"Yeah." Stefan shrugs.
"Guess so."

     We've been asking people for the past hour, no one knows where Logan is. I glance over to see Matt walking trough the door, I pace over to him.
      "Matt, have you seen Logan Fell?"
      "Yeah he gave Caroline a ride home." I mutter under my breath. Shit. Matt narrows his eyes.
      "Is everything okay?"
      "Yeah, he just, uh... had something of mine, and I kinda need it back. Thanks for he help." I turn around and walk up to Stefan.
      "Matt just said he saw Logan giving Caroline a ride home not that long ago." Stefan pulls me into a corner.
      "Stay here, I'm going to find Logan." He walks out of the gym. Fuck, it's getting worse!

     I over hear a few girls whispering. They look over at me and walk away. Elena and Jenna walk up to me.
      "Blake... the police just found another body... without a heart."
      "What??" Jenna looks the other way.
      "I'm gonna go talk to that new history teacher guy." She walks away.
      "Blake, vampires can be killed by getting their heart ripped out of their chest... the police say the boy was tall, muscular, white, and had brownish hair..."
      "Stefan..." I shake my head. "No, it can't be. Stefan wouldn't lose a fight against Logan Fell... no way." The doors open behind us.
      "He got away..." I turn around, it's Stefan. I hug him.
      "Thank god your okay."

     I pull up in Stefan's driveway. I pull into park and shut off the radio, I can tell Stefan has to stay something. I wait, he needs to let it out.
      "Look, Blake... just because I was here today, doesn't mean I'm staying. And it doesn't mean you should be near me. I'm..." I lean over, waiting for him to finish. "I'm letting you go." He unbuckled and gets out of my car.

     I sit there in silence. Is this my fault? Where did I go wrong? But... this isn't my fault. He can't do this. "No..." I mutter and swing open my door.
      "No Stefan!" I yell causing him to turn around startled.
      "You aren't doing this for me. You don't get to make that choice. If you walk away that means you're doing this for yourself, not for me..." he stratus stepping closer. "And there's no going back." He grabs me into a kiss. I pull back... then go back in for more.

     He kicks the door open and pushes me against the wall. He begins kissing my neck. He pulls back and turns around.
      "Don't." He turns around, his eyes showing his need for blood. I rest my fingers on them. He kisses me again, and vamp speeds up the stairs into a bedroom and pushes me on the bed.
      "This is your bedroom?" He nods.
      "Nice, vintage." He gets in top of me and continues making out with me. He pulls of my shirt. He pulls back.
      "Is this what you want?" I smile.
      "Yes, Stefan. It is."

     I'm lying in bed with Stefan, still kissing. That. Was. AMAZING!!! Stefan pulls back.
      "I have to take a shower."
      "Oh, no. Don't leave." I beg. He gets out of bed.
      "I'll be back." He walks into the bathroom and shuts the door. I crawl out of bed and look through his room. I see a card on his table. Katerina Petrova. I look down at the image.
      "Elena?" I question out loud. The image looks just like Elena. Was this who he meant by the crazy ex? I... I can't stay here. I through the card in his bed and throw on some clothes.

     I'm speeding down the road, not really going to a certain place. I pick up my phone, Stefan is calling. I answer.
      "Blake, let me explain."
      "Stefan look," I glance up to see someone in the road. "SHIT!!!" I yell as I swerve to the side. I hit my breaks and my car flips over.

     I'm hanging upside down. I hear Stefan calling my name from my phone. I teach for it but I hear someone's footsteps. I look over, someone's walking towards me.
      "Please! Don't come any closer!" I yell. They keep coming.
      "I'll call the police!" I scream. They still don't stop. I feel my heart pounding as my breaths become short and fast. The feet stop right in front of me.
      "What do you want?" I whisper. The hands grab the car and I gasp. Is this it? Am I a dad man?
