Karai's POV
I look down at my phone as I hear it go off. It's a text from Leo, at 11:00pm? "Come meet me at the address I tell you to, ASAP!!!!"
(Two hours earlier)
I'm currently at a meeting. Yes, it is 9:00pm and I really don't want to be here, but what choice do I have? My father wouldn't make me be here without no reason.
I'm sitting at the table, just the four of us; Shredder, me of course and two police officers.
"Are you sure you know nothing to do with this guy?" the one police officer asks my father sliding a picture of someone towards him.
"Never seen him," my father confirms. I myself have never seen this person in my life but I wouldn't be surprised if Shredder is lying right now.
The other police officer looks Shredder into the eyes. "Well, then do you know where the rumours of you buying a tank came from?"
This is what this is all about! That stupid thing father bought that doesn't even run! I knew that thing was trouble from the beginning!
"I don't know who would've came up with that, but I do not own a tank!" Shredder lies.
"We knew this guy had an illegal tank, and once we went there it was gone. He claimed to have sold it to you, and I'm not saying you have it, but this guy didn't sound like he was lying." The older police man explained.
The one police man was middle aged, taller than the other one. He had black hair, a moustache and seemed to be very strict. On the other hand, the other police man was young, had to be in his 20's. He was tall but not quite as tall as the other one. This guy had brown hair, green eyes and was pretty attractive...
"I promise you, no tank," Shredder states once again.
"Then it wouldn't be a problem if we took a look around?" The older one asked.
"Not a problem," Shredder confirms.
What is he thinking? The tank is in the garage, right out in the open! If the police find it, Shredder will be charged...I believe anyways.
"You stay here Anderson with the young lady, Saki, come with me," the older police officer explains.
My father and the one police man leaves. I'm sitting across from the other one...officer Anderson.
"Karai, right?" he asks me.
I nod my head. "Are you sure your father doesn't own a tank?"
"I think I would've remembered that," I explain.
He looks me into the eyes to see if I'm lying. Wow, he has nice eyes. It's a good thing I lie a lot to my father, there's no way that this officer will be able to tell if I'm lying or not.
"Does it sound like something your father would do?" Anderson asks me.
"I mean, I wouldn't see why he'd have any use in buying one," I explain.
He just looks at me in the eyes again. It's nearly 10:00pm now and I'm stuck here being investigated because my father screwed up.
"So you're positive that he doesn't own a tank?" he asks me again.
"I already answered that," I snap at him.
