Leo's POV
It was now the next morning. Although I had gone to bed late, I still woke up early for some reason. "7:00am," I say looking at my clock. I sighed, I hope Donnie is up. If he is, I'll give him the piece of crystal to examine.
I walk over to the lab with the piece of crystal in a sandwich bag. Sure enough, Donnie is there.
"What's up Leo?" he asks me.
I walk closer to him as he's sitting down on the computer chair working on some project. "Could you do me a favour?" I ask him.
Donnie looks over at me, my hands behind my back. "What is it?"
"What I'm about to tell you, I don't want anyone else to know. Can you keep a secret?"
Donnie looks at me now a little surprised. Me keeping a secret from my brothers is unusual. Normally it'd be Raph to do so.
"Yeah sure," Donnie says.
I trust Donnie. I probably trust him the most out of all of my brothers. "The other night when I went out, I met up with Karai. We overheard the Kraang talking about this crystal! I happened to find it last night and I don't know what it does. I doubt the Kraang would just want a crystal for decoration so I took a little piece of it that was broken off. Can you examine it for me?" I ask taking it out from behind my back.
Donnie takes the bag from me and looks at it carefully. "Sure thing, I should have results by tomorrow."
Tomorrow? Why so long?
"Alright, thanks Donnie!" I say leaving the room.
3rd person POV
The streets of New York"Wow, look at that!" one of the members of the Purple Dragons exclaim.
"What is it?" another member asks.
Fong, the leader of the Purple Dragons walks closer to the garbage bin and bends down. He smiles as he sees this shiny, long crystal. Fong picks it up.
"It's a crystal. And we'll be making a lot of money off of this thing!" he says showing it to the other guys. They all smile knowing that it'll bring them a good price.
