Leo's POV
Shredder stops running, he realizes the only way to get rid of us is to fight. With the crystal in his left hand and his gauntlet out for the right hand, he's ready to take on approximately thirty Kraang and us four ninja turtles.
I don't attack at first and I tell my brothers to wait. Three Kraang go up to Shredder and he kicks the first one down and slices the next two in half with one swing. Five Kraang now start shooting at Shredder. He takes care of the problem easily by throwing five ninja start at them hitting all of the Kraang. It isn't too long until half of the Kraang are gone. We have to step in now, before all of them are defeated!
Raph is the first one to attack. He swings his sais at Shredder. Shredder dodges them then kicks Raph to the ground. Donnie attacks next by spinning his bo staff at him. Shredder grabs the staff and with Donnie still holding on he throws him across the roof. Donnie shouldn't be fighting, not with his arm being hurt!
Before Mikey or I get the chance to attack, some more Kraang go take on Shredder. One Kraang starts shooting at him. He takes a ninja star and takes that Kraang down. Next, one just walks close to Shredder while he slices it in two! Mikey steps in and swings his nunchucks at Shredder's helmet. Shredder ducks then swings his blade at Mikey. He moves out of the way as he now trips Mikey.
I step in and swing both my katanas at Shredder. He blocks it with his blade so I strike again! The same thing happens so I put a blade away and try punching Shredder. He stops me by grabbing my hand and flipping me to the ground. I'm thrown on my shell and it hurts badly! I ignore the pain and get up.
At least twenty more Kraang are taken down, only seven remain. Donnie goes to attack Shredder once again. Donnie swings his staff at Shredder. While he is so focused on defending Donnie's attack, Raph goes and steals the crystal right from Shredder's hand!
Raph bolts away as Mikey, Donnie and I follow. I look behind and see the Kraang not following us! In fact, they aren't even attacking Shredder anymore, what is happening?
I see Karai come out of no where's. Once she comes, Shredder stops running and the two of them stop to speak. I don't know what this is all about, but we all run as we have the chance.
The four of us make it to the lair shortly after. We had successful day, we brought the crystal home with us and know that it's in safe hands now. I don't know what the Kraang had planned with the crystal, but we had now stopped their plans.
"I'm going to run a few test on the crystal. I'll hook it up to something and see how it works. And she if it really is as powerful as I believe it to be," Donnie explains taking it to his lab.
"Alright, but just don't use up all of the power of that thing," I say. "Wait, shouldn't you be resting? Your arm is too injured Donnie!"
"Use up all the power? I don't think you realize how much power this thing has" Donnie says. "I don't even know what to compare this to, it can give off so much energy! And don't worry about me, I'll take care of my arm."
I nod my head. Hearing that only makes me more glad that the Kraang nor Shredder has it anymore. But something isn't adding up here. My mind cannot get over the fact the Kraang would only attack or follow the Shredder. I know they didn't want him having it, but them not doing anything about us having it almost makes me think that the Kraang were okay with us having it. Or maybe even wanted us to have it now that I think about it! Is it not a coincidence that the crystal happened to be located in an alleyway that the four of us always hang out in? And did the Kraang just happen to start talking about the crystal near the spot Karai and I where fighting at? Would they really be talking about it out in the open if it was so important to them?
This all makes sense now. The Kraang didn't just happen to loose the crystal in our dimension! And the Kraang didn't want the Shredder having this crystal because this is clearly a trap! A trap to kill us once and for all! I better warn the others! Wait, Donnie is doing tests on it right now, and hooking it up to things! I have to stop him!
Third person POV
Donnie continues examining the crystal. He has now hooked it up to a vacuum cleaner. The motor is broken, so Donatello has hooked the crystal up to it as a new motor. He turns the vacuum cleaner on and starts vacuuming his lab. He's amazed to see that it works once again, as good as new. It has been running for five minutes now, Donnie only being a quarter done continues to vacuum.
Leo comes rushing into the lab, stopping at the door. He at first doesn't realize the vacuum is hooked up to the crystal. But once he see's a spark come out from the vacuum, he notices the crystal. Donnie however, he doesn't notice anything, he was looking up at Leo the entire time.
"Turn it off!" Leo cries out to Donnie. Donatello becomes confused. 'Why should he turn it off?' He wonders. "I can't talk right now!" Donnie explained to Leo. Donnie was too busy with the crystal and he figured whatever Leo had to say couldn't be that important.
Leonardo looked down, horrified as the crystal was now sparking like crazy and the vacuums made weird noises! That caught Donnie's attention as he now too looked down and saw what was happening! It wouldn't stop sparking, even once Donnie had turned it off! The vacuum cleaner continued to make the strange noises as they became louder and louder. Donnie dropped the vacuum cleaner and took a step away from it. Leo knew a step further wasn't enough, he knew what was coming. Leo went ruining over to Donnie, knocking him over. Donnie needed to take cover. And unfortunately, Donnie haven't realized that. Leo was the one who did and he knew that he would be Donnie's cover.
The next thing they knew, the vacuum exploded, and they were only seven feet away from the vacuum. Donnie was right about all the power the crystal had, and with that being said, to be completely safe from that exploding you'd have to be at least thirty feet away. Raph was in his bedroom at the time and was not effected. As for Mikey, he want effected since he was in the kitchen and neither was Splinter being in the dojo.
Donnie and Leo on the other hand weren't so lucky. Donnie slowly opened his eyes to see Leo on top of him, protecting his little brother from the blast. "Leo?" Donnie cried out. Leo didn't respond. Donnie looked around the room for a quick second, noticing the room had caught on fire and with the chemicals in there, it wasn't long until another much smaller explosion happened. Donnie, he was to injured to do anything. He closed his eyes, laying there unconscious.
