Can This Get Any Worst?

Leo's POV

I hope Karai has gotten my text and is distracting Shredder because we're here. The four of us are just about to enter his lair hopefully without being spotted. Karai hasn't responded to my text, I just hope Shredder doesn't find out that we're in his lair.

"Through the back doors," I say. The three of them nod as we walk over to the back doors. Where do the back doors lead us to? Well, that we'll discover soon enough. And do I know where the lab is located? I have an idea, however I don't know for certain.

I reach for the doorknob with my left hand, in my right is my katana just in case someone is there to guard it. My brothers too have their weapons out. It's never a bad idea to be prepared.

I open the door and am relieved when I see no one guarding the door. With no one in sight, the four of us go in. I know the area the lab is in and it's to the right of us. I look around the corner and there are foot bots.

I take my other katana out. As I do that, everyone else knows we'll be attacking something and they do the same. I run quickly but silently and slice the first foot bot in two. There are two more, Raph stabs the first one as Mikey takes the other one down with his nunchucks.

They follow me as I walk down the hallway. I stop at every door and look in quickly to see if it's the lab or not. The next door I stop at, I realize quickly it's the lab. There only is one problem, someone is in the lab; Baxter Stockman. And just with knowing that he's in the lab there is no doubt that he's doing something with the crystal. It's time to resort to plan B...I mean if there was one.

"Stockfly is in there with the crystal," I explain. "Raph, Mikey and I will attack him. Donnie, you get the crystal!"

Everyone nods their heads and follows me into the room. I have both my katanas out ready to fight. Once we enter, it only takes Stockfly a minute to realize we're here.

"Turtles?" he asks confused. Wait a second, he's already putting the crystal into the tank! We have to act quickly!

I charge at Stockfly, swinging both katanas at him. He dodges them and starts to fly. Donnie goes straight to the crystal as we fight Baxter. Stockman spits acid at Mikey. Mikey jumps out of the way and swings his nunchucks at Baxter hardly missing him.

I look over at Donnie. There are a whole bunch of wires connected to the crystal which he is trying to figure out how to take off. Raph now throws three ninja stars in Baxter's direction. He manages to dodge them.

"Hey!" Baxter yells at Donnie seeing what he's doing. "Those took me forever to hook that up!" Baxter then spits acid at Donnie.

Donnie wasn't prepared, by the time he realized what was happening his arm was already burnt. "Ahh!" he cries in pain.

"Donnie!" Mikey yells. It hit him just above the elbow and it looks pretty serious. Donatello holds in arm in pain. It looks like he's out for the rest of this mission.

I am about to attack Stockfly once again until I hear my phone go off, I have received a text. I almost 100% know it's from Karai do I quickly check it.

'Sorry Leo, I tried distracting him for as long as possible but Shredder found out you're here. He's coming right now and bringing me along.'

I sigh knowing in just minutes or maybe even seconds we'll be fighting the Shredder. I manage to kick Stockfly but only in the leg. It does no damage and the fight carries on.

"Turtles," says a voice all too familiar. "Shredder, I say to myself.

I turn around to him. While turning around, I also see Donnie trying to disable the crystal with one arm. By the looks of it, it's not going too well. Karai stands behind Shredder and there's no doubt she'll fight with Shredder. I don't expect her to go against her own father, she'd be punished for that!

"Karai, attack. I'll take the tank!" Shredder say.

Karai doesn't respond but rather attacks me. I know she won't hurt me, it's more like we're training. Shredder makes his way straight to the tank. He pushes Donnie to the ground as he reconnects the few wires that were disconnected. It only takes him a minute before he goes on the tank. He starts the engine and it's running. I already know the whole city is doomed at this point.

Just as I thought the situation couldn't get any worst, it did. Not only were two members of the foot clan in here including Shredder who is about to take the city over with a tank, but also the Kraang start coming in. At least twenty of them come in and I wouldn't doubt if there are more. They take their guns out, but this shocks me. They don't point their guns at us, but rather all at the Shredder!
