Karai's POV
I had just finished after three hours of some intense training today. It was a lot, all my body wants is to sleep right now. I go lay down on my bed. It feels like every muscle in my body is aching and I have close to no energy left. I only lay there for a few minutes until my phone vibrates. I sigh, I'm not in the mood for this right now. I sit up on my bed and reach over to my night stand and pick up my phone. It's from Leo, 'Karai, we're coming right away. Can you tell us where the crystal is?'
'It's in the lab.' I reply.
Great, if the turtles are coming now, that means I'll have to get up. I did tell Leo that I'd distract Shredder so their mission could work. I personally want them to get the crystal. I don't want the Kraang finding out that we have it, then they'd fight us for it. And if worst came to worst, Shredder could die.
I walk into the throne room where Shredder should be. He's there, sitting in his throne as expected. But something unusual is happening, why are the Purple Dragons here?
"Yes, Karai?" Shredder asks seeing me at the other side of the room.
"I just wanted to talk, but we can do that later since you have company," I explain.
He nods his head as I start to walk off. I exit the room and realize something. If the Purple Dragons were just here a few days ago selling Shredder the crystal, is there any chances that this can be about the crystal again? There's only one way of knowing, I'll have to sneak into the room and listen in to their conversation.
I can hear their voices outside of the room, however I cannot figure out what they're saying. I crawl into the room and hide behind some boxes. The voices become more clear and I start listening to what they're saying.
"What do you mean that you want the crystal back?" Shredder demands.
"Well," Fong explains. "It's a long story but we just need to buy it back from you! I have your money right here!"
Shredder stands up from his throne and approached Fong and the others. "I bought it from you and it is not for sale anymore. Now, you four will leave here before you loose your heads!" Shredder threatens.
"Sh...Shredder!" Fong says. "We can give you more than what you paid for it!"
"It's not for sale!" Shredder yells. The four of them realize that they're not going to make a deal with him. Fong and the others exit the building. As for I, I sneak out of the room so Shredder won't know that I was spying.
I make my way back to my room but something stops me, my phone vibrates. I take it out of my pocket and see that I have received another text from Leo.
'We're here.'
