Fire Hazard🔥🔥

Chapter 4

     We drove for a while last night before we actually got back to her house. When we got there it was really quiet. Her dad's car wasn't there and neither was her stepmoms. The only person that was there was her brother. We walk into the house and go back to her room. On our way there we found a note on the counter that read: We had an emergency at the church so we'll be back a little later than usual tonight.
Me and Liv both got a grin on our faces and we pull out or phones.

    To Sarena(aka rain): Hey Liv's parents won't be home until later on tonight on your way here go to the store and get some snacks and drinks I'll pay you when you get here.

  She replies with a smiley face and says that she's leaving her house now. While we wait for her to get back we get plates cups and bowls. Liv goes over toward the tv to pick out a few movies that we can watch. We wait for about an hour and Sarena and Levi finally get here. We all plop on the Couch and we put on the DVD player which was a movie called "lights out." It's a really old movie about three years old. We saw this in theaters when it came out but it's a good movie. We watched that and it took about an hour and a half. Then we all stop because Sarena had to pee. We go and put the next movie on which was Sarena pick. She picked a movie called "Brave Souls." It was about a German girl who ended up saving lives of like a hundred Jew's by sneaking them out of the Concentration Camps and hiding them or whatever. It actually was really good.
      Levi picked next; the movie he picked was"Abandoned." It was about a girl in High school who always got in trouble and during this time everyone wanted nothing to do with her except for a few people and she ended up pushing them away. Then she finally changed her life around and everyone wanted to be her friend except for the people who left her. A weird movie, yes but it was amazing. We stop again after this movie for a few reasons.

    "I'm sorry guys but I really have to pee," Sarena says this in the weirdest voice you can imagine. we wave her away to go.

     "I swear that girl has the smallest bladder ever," I say this trying to keep a straight face but I can't help but crack a smile.

    We wait a few minutes and Sarena pops up and we go to my choice which was obviously a movie about Germany. It was called "Guten Tag.". A great movie.  It was all about a girl from Germany who moved to America knowing nothing but German. All throughout the movie, there was a guy she likes but couldn't tell him because he didn't know German and she didn't know enough English to tell him. She tells him multiple times she likes him but he thinks she's saying something completely different. Obviously, she ends up getting the guy and speaking English because movies are sappy and have to have a good ending.
      By the end of that movie, everyone is asleep until we hear a loud beeping noise. We all jump up half scared to death. It was our phones. We slept all throughout the night and we had exactly twenty-seven minutes to get ready until we had to get ready. Levi left to go get clothes from his house but me Liv and Sarena stayed and got ready. Liv wore a lovely red and black plaid shirt with black skinny jeans and combat boots and the necklace I had given her our sophomore year and it has a puzzle piece on the end.
     Me being the weird one, I wear my black ripped skinny jeans and a blue and white plaid shirt with a black shirt underneath also wearing combat boots and my necklace. Sarena wears a blue shirt with stars on it that says shoot for the starts and a really nice pair of jeans and her Gladiator sandals and she's also wearing her necklace. We all walk out the door together jumping in my car and driving away. We get to school around 7:45 which isn't that bad. We walk into our normal spot and see Levi waiting for us he's wearing black jeans with sneakers. He's also wearing a shirt that is just plain blue with white spots here and there.
     We are probably the weirdest bunch you'll ever meet but it's whatever. We all stand there and talk until the bell then we head to our first period. we all head to trig and we all have our homework done it's only the second day but teachers suck. We sit there and listen to a lecture about how important this class is until the phone rings. We all look at each other and then to the phone. Mrs. Riden doesn't look around so it's kind of mysterious on who the person is that's getting called down. She hangs up the phone and looks at the corner of that classroom we're all in.

     "Alexis you are wanted down in the office, take your stuff."

    I look at Liv, Sarena, and Levi. I send them the look that I didn't do anything wrong probably just my mom. I walk out of the class with a pass and walk down the stairs to the first floor. The closer I get to the office the more that I see and it's definitely not my mom. I go to the door and open it when a police officer asks a question.

     "Are you Alexis?"

     " Yes, why whats wrong?"

     "Can I have a word with you?"

     " Yeah what about?"

     "The fire that occurred about two  days ago."

      "Um Sure."

    Mr.Crosson leads us to the conference room and the officer says thank you then shuts the door.

      "Please have a seat." He gestures toward the seat closer to the door.
