Fire Hazard🔥🔥

Chapter 8

   "Nothing we just need to talk to you."

   " About what exactly?"

   "The fire."

   " I've told you guys everything I know."

   "We feel you didn't."

  " Whatever I'm leaving." I stand straight up and walk out of the office door and I go straight to the bathroom. The nerve of some people to think that I'm lying when they weren't there and I was. I saw my friends die, like for real.
   I walk into the bathroom and run into a stall. I slide down and lock the door. I was mad, frustrated, pissed off you name it it was me. I sit in the bathroom until the bell rings for the start of the second period. I walk up to my first-period class and grab my books. I end up going to my 2nd-period class and sit in the back. Do they really think that I did it I mean I couldn't have.
   This runs through my head until the end of the day. When the final bell rings I run out of my classroom and straight to Liv's locker. We always meet up there after school so we can go hang out.

    "Hey guys"

   "Hey" Liv replies first.
  
   "hey" Then Sarena

   "So how was your day guys?"

   "Amazing" They both reply

    "So do you guys wanna go do something, I'll pay."

    " Yeah that works"

   We all go out to my car where Macc and  Emily B are waiting. I asked them earlier if they wanted to come and they both said yes.

     "Hey, Emily."

  She didn't respond she was staring at something. I go and stand next to her and I look at where she's looking at.

    "Emily, who is that?"

    "Well"

    "Emily tell me." I plead until she actually answers.

    "It's the new kid in school his name is Gabe."

    "Emily has a boyfriend." We all start to chant.

     "SHUT UP." She yells this playfully. "I haven't even talked to him yet."

     "But you find him attractive don't you?"

     "Well yeah."

     "OK well, that solves it."

    I yell over to the guy and then I walk over to him and start talking.

  "Hey, you're Gabe right?"

  "Yeah who's asking?"

  "Well I'm Alexis but I was just wondering if you're single? Like for my friend."

   "Who is it?"

   "It's Emily Bowersox."

   "Oh yeah I know her she's kinda cute."

   "Really?"

   "Yeah."

   " You two should hang sometime."

   "OK, what's her number?"

  I stand next to Gabe and I give him her number I end up walking away feeling like I've accomplished something big in my life. I don't get that option very much. I walk back over to my friends and explain what happened and we all gawked as Emily started to blush. We all got into cars and drove away. Emily, me and Liv in one and Sarena and Levi in the other. We drove until we got to a sushi place and we all got a table.
    We sat and waited until we finally were given menus. It was all quiet until Emily tried to whisper but ended up yelling.

  " So I heard you got called down to the office.".

   " Yeah what was that about?" Liv and Sarena both spat out.

    "It was about the fire again. They think that someone is lying about what happened."

     "So do they think you did it?" Liv asked out of curiosity.

    "At first yeah, but after a while they just let the subject go."

   " That's good." Sarena chimed in.

  We all sat in silence as we waited for our food. Everyone got sushi except for me because you know I got a be the weird vegetarian so I just got a salad. When we got our food we dug in I don't know why we were so hungry but we were. After about an hour to two hours in the restaurant, we all chip in with money and leave. I take Emily and Liv again. Levi and Sarena already said their goodbyes and left. We all get in my car and I start driving toward Emily's house. It's quiet at first until Emily quakes in happiness.
  

   "Emily are you ok?" Me and Liv both manage to get out at the same time.

   "Yeah, I'm fine."

    "Then why did you make that noise?" Liv asked

   "Oh, that kid Gabe just text me."

   "Oh well be careful when you yell I don't feel like getting into a wreck."

   I dropped Emily off at her house and then me and Liv both go over to Sarena's to stay the night. Once we got there me and Liv both get out of the car and drag our bags and go to her porch walking in like we always do. We go in and find Sarena sitting on the couch awaiting our arrival. We go in and Liv goes and puts in the movie while I got the snacks and Sarena went to pee. When she comes back we all run to get the good seat on the couch then we get comfortable.
     We watch the first movie then we take a small break. The first movie ended up being two hours. So while Sarena went pee and Liv started to talk.

   "You need a man."

She looked at me surprised and I looked at her with my serious face.

   "No, I don't."

    "Yes, you do."

   "UGHHH."

  when she finishes complaining Sarena comes back and we start the second movie. About halfway through my phone starts to buzz signaling that I got a text. When I open it I realize that it's from someone I didn't.

Unknown: How far are you from the building?and how fast can you get here it's an Emergency.
