As we walk the halls me and Liv notice people glaring our way.

    "You see them starting to?"

"Yeah, just ignore them," Liv says this as calmly as she can

"I am I and I learned after Madi to keep my mouth shut."

We both start to laugh as we walk into German.Obviously excited. We sit through the lecture and then it was our turn. We get up and I sign in with the computer and Liv goes and gets the food We made. As she walks in I pull up the power point. We take the rest of the period to finish up our lecture and we finish right as the bell rings.
We get up and leave. We leave the school for the rest of the day we go to my house to grab clothes. That was the wrong choice. As we pull up I see cops surrounding my house. I pull up and get out of my car. I run up to my house to see what was going on. I push the door open to see what was happening.

     "Debra?(My mom)"

" Oh, My Baby I thought something happened to you."She pulls me into a big hug and I pull away.

"What the hell is going on?"

"I thought you were hurt you left yesterday and never came back."

"The only time you cared about me was when you wanted to get your anger out or you left a Mark. Don't act like you care."

At that moment it was just us, Me and Debra. She looked at me with disappointment.

" Why the hell did you say that I could have handled it."

"Like you've handled your problems in the past by lying."

"Shut up, that was uncalled for."

"No, what was uncalled for was you caring."

     "What do you mean?"

"You always cared for Cassidy, not your own daughter when she was around you forgot about me even when she wasn't the only time you ever wanted me, was when something needed to be done!"

     "I just don't understand."

" I know this you've always been distant with me when I found out I was adopted and we separated. Not that I care things couldn't be better."

"I just don't understand why Cassidy likes to be here and you don't."

"YOU DON'T BEAT HER! YOU DON'T LAY A HAND ON HER IT'S ALWAYS ME NO MATTER WHAT WHETHER IT'S CALLING ME NAMES SLAPPING ME PUSHING ME OR SIMPLY JUST PUTTING YOUR HANDS ON ME IT WAS ALWAYS ME NOT HER. I WISH YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER SIGNED THOSE ADOPTION PAPERS BECAUSE WE CAN ALL SEE THAT YOU KNOW YOU'VE MADE MISTAKE."

It was meant to say but I said it I was pissed. And so was she. When I finished she raised her hand and slapped me across the face. It hurt but I was used to it.

"You're right you are useless. You've always been."

"I'm glad you see it that way."

After I say this I go running to my room when she grabs my arms. She holds it tight and I can feel that it's going to bruise.

   "Don't think of going anywhere."

"You lost the title to be a parent when you laid your hands on me when I was twelve."

I walked away from her and go up to my room. I grab a duffel bag and fill it with clothes and Make-up. I also grab a tiny box that was my grams and walk downstairs and grab my keys and walk out.As I'm walking out I notice my Debra was in tears and on the phone. I take my stuff open up the door and slam it. I get in my car turn it on and start driving. No actual destination, I just kept driving.
I drive till I get to about the park close to my house. I pull up and sit there for a moment as I feel something roll down my cheek. Was I really crying? Why though she deserved to know. I obviously didn't feel bad. I reach over in the passenger seat and grab my grandmothers box and open it. When I open it I reveal four blades and a few gauze pads. I take one blade out and make one simple cut and put them away I sit there for a while and I end up falling asleep. I wake up the next day around 9:30.  I get in the back and change into black skinny jeans and a long sleeve Shirt. I drive to Mcdonalds and just grab a coffee and go. I get to school in the middle of the second period that's German. I walk in sign into Schools and put my headphones in as I walk. It takes a few Minutes to get to the third-floor granite I'm walking really slow. I walk into the classroom and sit next to Liv like I always do. We sit in silence until the end when we are given free time. I sit in silence until Liv finally breaks it.

   "Where were you this morning?"

"Um. . .  erm. the doctors."

   "Well, that was a lie."

   "What, No it wasn't."

" You weren't at the doctor's I'm not stupid I know you to well stop lying."

    " Fine, I slept late."

    "Where?"

    "My moms (Debra) house."

     "No, you didn't."

      "Yes, I did."

"No you didn't I called to make sure you were ok and why you weren't replying to anything and your mom said you got into a fight and you left."

I sit there and I just roll my eyes.

    "So where were you?"

    "In my car."

    "Why?"

"I didn't want to be bothered."

" And what did you do in your car?"

Weirdly enough I knew she knew especially since I hate long sleeve shirts. We sit there in silence and I see her waiting for an answer.

   "Hello?"

    "What?"

"What were you doing in your car?"

     "Sleeping."

     "Stop lying."

     "I'm not."

Right at that moment, the phone rings. Our teacher looks up looking for someone and his eyes land on me.

"Mrs.Colyer you are wanted in the office."

Liv and I look at each other.

   "What did you do?"

    "I don't know.".

I get up and walk out of the classroom and start walking slowly toward the office. When I get there I see a whole slew of police officer and detectives. I walk in and I'm told to follow. I walk behind two guys who walk down the long corridor. We stop at the door to a room and I break the silence.

   "What did I do. . .
