Chapter 10

  "You know I don't enjoy waking up to bright lights in my face," I say this still not aware of my surroundings.
    Liv and Sarena jump up next to my bed looking truly surprised.

    "Ok, so can someone please tell me where I am."

   "You don't remember ?"

   " No."

   "What do you remember."

   " Going to the building to meet someone and getting into a fight. Is that why I'm here?"

   Liv stands up "yeah, I have a question for you?"

    "What's that?"

    "Do you remember what that girl said to you?"

    " Which one?"

    " The one with the blonde hair."

   " The tall one?"

   " Oh her. They all were saying things to me that's why I had to ask?"

   "Yeah her what did she say."

  " Oh, she said that I need to keep my mouth shut."

   "Why?"

   "Because apparently, I know who set the fire."

   "Do you?"

   "No, I don't."

  Just as we finished the conversation a nurse walked into the room and checked my monitor and she ended up letting me go home. Well technically we went to Sarena's house but it's the same thing. It took a while for us to actually leave the hospital between me and Liv fighting because I wanted to drive but she wouldn't let me and Sarena had to pee. I swear if there was a way to expand your bladder she needs to get it. After about twenty minutes I gave up and let Liv drive. Once we get to Sarena's house I go straight up to the bathroom to get a shower. When I'm done I go into her room to get my clothes. Just in case you were wondering I have a clothing stash.
     After I finish getting dressed I check my phone for texts. I end up having over forty texts from different people. I look at the first one which is from Emily B. Well the first like ten.

    Emily: where are you??
    Emily: hey you weren't at Drumline yesterday where were you?
    Emily: hey Andy and Mr.B want to know if you're ok since you haven't been to the practices at all this week.
     Emily: Hello Alexis
     Emily: Omg I heard what happened are you ok
     Emily: Hey I told Andy and Mr.B what happened they said come back when you are ready.
    Emily: Hello are you still in the hospital?
     Emily: Yo dude you gonna be able to come to the next competition
    Emily: Hello
    Emily: Hey message me when you get this

  Seeing as how almost all of them were sent between Monday when this happened and the last one being sent today before we got back here I think she may be worried. I end up texting her back telling her I'll be at practice tomorrow. All she replies with is an ok. The next ten were from my work wondering where I was. And the next few are from my mom and I could care less to read them. The last like five or so are from an unknown number.

   Unknown: Hey how are you
   Unknown: Have you learned your lesson
    Unknown: So are you feeling better
    Unknown: Did she hit you with hard
    Unknown: Hello
    Unknown: Remember this is between me and you nobody should find out the name of the person.

  I still don't understand why she insists on saying I know who it is I obviously don't. As I finish reading the texts Liv and Sarena come running up the stairs.

  "Oh my god dude you need to see this." Liv and Sarena say in a synchronized tone.

    I throw my phone on the bed and run downstairs to see the news. They had someone videotape my attack.

    "WHAT THE F**K."

     "I know why would they do this?"

     "To publicly humiliate me."
 
      "True they seem like the people to do that."

      "Their plan didn't work because I humiliate myself like all the time so. . .  And most of it is on purpose."

     "You have a point."
 
    "Ok so I'm hungry what do you guys want ill to cook. And no Sarena I won't burn it this time."

    "Fine but the first time I smell smoke I'm taking over."

    "It was one time Sarena one flipping time."

    As I and Sarena finish whatever just happened I started cooking while Liv put on music. We usually put music on when we cook. While cooking I look over my shoulder and see Liv and Sarena dancing like idiots. That's nothing new though so I'm used to it. I finish cooking and call them to the table.

     "It's not some of that veggie ass shit is it."

      "No Sarena its not, I made a salad for me and this for you guys."

     "Good just because you are vegetarian doesn't mean we gotta eat the same shit you do."

   We all burst into laughter as we start. Engaging in the useless conversation like always. Talking about how people are idiots and how Sebastian aka Sebby looks amazeballs in swim trunks.(like I said non- sense) That's another day to talk about that. We all finish eating and we go into the living room. We sit on the couch. Well not exactly sit more like the jump but same thing.
     We decide to watch tv obviously when we turn the tv on attack of Titan is on. We may be in high school but we definitely are not as mature as people peg us to be. We're different and I guess that's the good thing about us. No matter what the world throws at us we kill it with our weirdness. We all end up falling asleep on the couch and occasionally getting up to pee. Well, Sarena anyway.
