We wake up the next morning just in time for school. I get up and get Liv and Sarena up. We get up and we get dressed for school and I grabbed an extra outfit knowing I was gonna go to drum line after school. I've missed way to much practice. I needed to go. We have a performance in less than two weeks mise well go and learn. We all jump in Liv's car and we were off to hell.
"Why exactly do we need school?" Sarena asked
"Well you see, I don't know," Liv says plainly.
We continue on to school with Sarena complaining she has to pee and Liv singing, more like yelling the music. We finally get to school and we don't even get three steps in the school before everyone gets quiet and just stares at us.
" Why are they staring?"
" Don't tell me you already forgot about what happened,"Liv replied
"Well obviously I didn't but that was like three days ago how did they find out?"
" There may be a video," Liv replies looking down at her shoes.
"WHAT THE HELL WHY IS THERE A VIDEO OF ME GETTING BEAT UP? WHY WASN'T IT TAKEN OFF THE NEWS?"
" I don't know nobody does the school is working on finding who did this," Liv said this backing away slowly.
" This school hasn't done anything to help me for years there not gonna do something now I'm going to the band room can you tell Mrs.Riden I don't know that I got sick?"
"Sure."
We part ways and I walk toward the band room. This is weird I haven't been back here for a while, this is true sadly. As I walk in everybody just stops and stares.
"What?"
"We can't believe you're here."Brendan (wonton) says in surprise.
" Well, I am." We both laugh until Mr.B breaks the laughter.
" Alexis can you come into my office, please. "
Everyone looks my way as if I'm in trouble. I walk in and he closes the door and has me sit in one of his chairs. He sits across from me at his desk and he just stares at me.
" I saw you only four days before you were attacked, why didn't you tell me you were in danger."
"I didn't know that was gonna happen."
"What happened?"
"I start to walk away from the car and watch as their heads follow me to the back of the building and then I disappear behind the building. I walk further and further until three figures come from behind the building. I notice the one as being Chase and the other as being Zane but the last figure I couldn't figure it out. I walk closer until I hear something behind me. Out of the corner of my eye, I see three other people behind me. One I recognize as being a friend of me and Emily and the other two I have no idea who they are. I hear people walking closer and I look back at the corner of the building hoping to escape. As I turn I see Liv and Sarena pop their heads out the side of the building. As I go to walk that way I find myself on the ground. I look up and I find that someone is sitting on me and another is holding my arms down and the others hold my legs as the person on top of me starts to whisper stuff in my ears, stuff I wish I didn't hear. As she finishes talking someone pops out of the building. She comes over and as soon as I know it I find myself laying on the ground barely conscious as I see the group of people run away from my body."
" How did they find you?"
"I went to them, I thought it was one of my friends."
"How'd people find you?"
" My friends, I told them to stay in the car but they followed me when I went down they came running."
" Why didn't you tell me or Andy that you were in trouble with people?"
" I didn't know."
"I don't wanna keep you here but if you need somewhere to hang today, it being your first day back you're obviously able to come here."
"Thank you Mr.B."
He stood up and gave me a hug and opened his office door. As I walked out everyone just looked at me. I kind of expected it but what I didn't expect was someone I knew but didn't like walking toward me. It was the main detective on the case. Why was he in the band room? As he walked toward me everything got really quiet it was like time stopped.
"You need to come to my office."
"Why?"
"Because we need to have a talk."
"Tell me why."
" Because we need to talk."
Not wanting to argue I follow him down the long corridor and into the office way leading to his office. As I step into his office I see everyone I hate. Officer Haines, Mr. Dearment, and Mr.Compagna. They all just look at me like I'm weak. I sit down in the chair close to the door and wait for one of them to start talking.
"Tell us who the people are that beat you up."The detective demands.
" I don't know."
"You have to know in the video you talk to the one for a little."
"Doesn't mean I know who they are."
"We cant help unless we get names."
"That's what you said before and nothing was done."
"This is serious and we want something done."
"Yeah ok."
"We truly care."
"Just like you cared when a friend of mine was getting messages to kill herself."
" That was the past."
"You don't do anything now and you didn't do anything in the past. Can I go now?"
" No."
Feeling sick I jump up from my chair, not stopping even though they were yelling for me to come back. I run straight to the bathroom. I knew this would happen. I was having an anxiety attack. I sat on the bathroom floor until the end of the first period. As I went to get up out of the stall I was sitting in I hear two girls walking in and they started talking about the video. I take my phone out and start taking a video of what they were saying.
"Did you hear that she knows Macc started the fire."
"No, but is that why you videotaped her getting beat up?"
"Obviously, I wasn't going to let her tell anyone."
"Don't you think you were to rough I mean you did put her into a coma for like a day."
"No now she knows not to mess with us, she won't tell now."
"True."
They walk out as the bell rings. Not knowing who they were. I still had a kind of evidence to find out who the other people who beat me up were even though I didn't get their faces on camera I'll find out who they are.
I walk up to the second period which is German and I have that with Liv and I sit next to her. I lean over and get her attention she knows some things wrong.
"Hey, whats wrong?"
"I have something I need to show you and Sarena immediately after school."
