Poet boy
Just wants to
help people
With his poetry.
📖Really,
He wants to...
Because he's got nothing else
That he knows of
That he can offer the world.
📖So every time he's had to
He mutilates the three-headed beast
Of self-doubt,
Stabs the heart of the anxiety snake
And murders the artist of fears of failure -
Just so he could have enough courage
To share a poem...
And someone tells him
Something that seems more than adulation:
When someone tells him
His poem was more than just art
For their soul to admire and critic
But actually a trigger of epiphanies
And revelations.
Or words that embrace them as they go through a pain
That no one can seem to see or understand.
📖Poet boy's life
Makes sense...
To him
As Happiness
Paints a smile on his face
And his body
Falls victim to the sweet enthralling
Multitudinous appendages
Of eustress hormones
