Dedicated to thebreathofhope  - do yourself a favour and check out her poetry books: pure honesty, simplicity and relatability on a level that tends to confound me and humbles me to sit down and start taking notes on what traits make up the DNA of a good poem.

'She was perfect' - it was a weird thing to hear your mind say. It doesn't make it any less existent: that moment in time when her hands let go of yours and distance grew in between until you were scared of loss - scared you could never close that chasm of hurt and regain her trust. That moment in time, you did lose her and you did realise her worth. Her worth to you: perfection.
