Paul woke up at five in the morning with keyboard imprints on his cheeks. As he sat up in his desk chair he was met with Brian, messing with two cups of coffee.

"Came in early, saw you asleep and thought I'd get you some coffee" Brian gave a small smile and held out a cup for Paul. He took it and placed it next to his keyboard.

"I really don't need the pity, Brian but thanks" Paul chuckled miserably into his tipped cup. Brian cringed and rubbed under his chin.

"You have time to go home and change if you'd like"

Paul laughed a little lighter and stood up. "That's a hint if I've ever heard one. I'll be back in fifteen minutes" Paul rolled his head back. Brian watched him go and sighed. Before he turned to go back into his office, George walked in sipping tea. Brian smiled.

"Richards gonna be starting today. I suggest you wait for him downstairs and show him up"

George scoffed. "He's been here before Brian. I don't think I have-"

"Just go, said he'd be here round five thirty" Brian waved his hand around and went back into his office. George took off his jacket and hung it on the coat hanger behind Paul's desk and went back downstairs. He sat down, bouncing his leg up and down and watching the sun gradually make its way higher into the sky. He didn't like having down time lately, it only gave him time to rethink everything and relive the embarrassment. He heard the door open and shot his head up but it was only Paul.

"Morning" Paul tried to smile, his throat still dry from waking up and his lips sticking together. George didn't have a lot of time to decide whether or not he wanted to answer and he accidentally went for saying it when Paul was mostly past him. He put his head down hoping Paul wouldn't come back and would just go upstairs and carry the embarrassment with him. Thankfully, Paul did. And though it was what George wanted, it did hurt a little. He swallowed and coughed hard when he realized just how dry his throat was. Of course, when he was in his coughing fit, Richard walked in looking well put together. George collected himself and stood with misty eyes to greet him.

"Quite alright?" Richard chuckled and George held back any other cough that might be coming and nodded.

"Yeah, yes I am. Anyway, Brian's asked me to collect ya and bring you up" George smiled politely. Richard laughed and nodded.

"Doesn't he remember that I was just here?"

"Yeah, well he wants to show he's professional or something" George waved his hand dismissively. "Also, I'm great company so be grateful" George and Richard snickered and they walked to the elevator. As they got upstairs and passed by Pauls desk, he was tucked into his chair and lightly snoring. Richard couldn't help but smirk a little and slam the office door a little bit harder than he would've before. Paul fell off the chair but quickly sprung to his feet, George looked down at Richard with an impressed and amused look.

"Sorry mate, that was too good of an opportunity to pass up. I'm Richard" He walked up and held out his hand. Paul chuckled awkwardly and shook it.

"Paul"

George escorted Richard away and back into the back of the office. Paul watched them go and went to knock at Brian's door. He was granted to come in and he turned the doorknob and sat down across from Brian.

"I don't want people knowing that I slept here last night, Mr. Epstein. And it might happen again but I'll straighten up soon, I promise"  Paul did a lot of hand gestures when he was nervous. Brian nodded through the statement and seemed to set aside his work.

"I'll make sure no one knows. But Paul, you can't sleep here just to avoid going home."

Paul nodded numbly and clapped his hands together. "Yes, I understand. Won't happen again, sir.-"
