The beginnings of morning were tugging at the end of George's bed and he knew had to wake up with his lack of enthusiasm anyway. He cracked his back and slowly drew himself upwards, putting his palms back on the bed to support himself. His eyes were squinted tight to avoid the glare from his window, if he turned to the left he'd find his phone on his bedside table that was probably filled with missed calls from people at the office and he didn't wish to see those yet. So he lolled his head over to the right and what he found was not better than the phone calls. There was a man, in his bed. He rolled his lips together and leaned his head back to suck in a few broken breaths before getting up to get dressed. He took his time getting ready for work in hopes that the man would get up himself but there was no such luck. He pulled his bag over his shoulder and tugged at it anxiously as he walked back to his room. He shook his shoulder and the lad opened his eyes and sat up. "Good Morning, George" he smiled.
"Morning, uh....Jürgen, yeah morning" George clenched his teeth. "I've got to go to work so...." George wasn't sure how to tell him to get out but he was hoping that it was implied. Jürgen nodded and got out of George's bed and got dressed. George collected any scattered items that he needed for work while he waited. As he guided Jürgen to his door and opened it to get started on his terrible day, Jürgen stopped him to grab the sides of his face and kiss him.
"I'll call you" he smiled and walked out and started walking down the street. George could've said something to clue Jürgen in that he didn't want to make this a lasting thing but he just couldn't. He leaned his head back on the doorway and kicked his foot back and forth to the other side. The sun beamed down on the last bit of lingering snow that covered the grass. George thought about his lack of options, Jürgen seemed to want him and maybe that was a good thing because as it seemed, no one else did.
--------------------------------John spent quite a few moments of his morning discussing things at Yokos desk. She was very poised but very short with him. She had smudged pencil on the side of her hand and her hair pushed back to keep it from falling into her tea. While he was attempting to talk to her about music, their boss came around the corner and gestured for John to come into his office. John made his move to follow after him and threw a look to Yoko, she shrugged with a curious expression. John sat down on one of the lads chairs and he paced in front of John.
"You worked at the Liverpool branch, correct?"
John curled his mouth to the side and nodded. "Yeah I did." He waited for the boss's explanation that came after a delay of him pondering on how to put what he was going to say into words.
"I've decided to resign to work elsewhere, I'm afraid cooperate has decided to have this branch closed. Which means some of you will be joining over at the Liverpool branch." He said with strategic and nervous movements. John leaned back on his chair and rubbed the corner of his hand across his mouth with an exaggerated sigh.
"Well, that's great. That's great. How long do we have left here before we have to transfer?" John spat.
"I'd give it, the rest of the week"
"Lovely." John shot up out of his seat and went to walk out the office but not before spitting out "Wanker." As he left the room, he planted himself back into his chair and pushing it back to face Yoko. "We've got the rest of the week to either find a new job or transfer to Liverpool."
Yoko finally looked interested in something he'd said but she also looked mighty pissed. "You're not joking, are you?" She looked very hopeful that this was one of Johns distasteful jokes. John shook his head, leaning back and crossing his arms. "That's around two hours away! Making that commute for such a lousy job" she rolled her eyes and slammed her chair closer to the desk.
