Abygale x reader

" Abygale! Is Gaito okay?" I asked worriedly. " He's fine, (Name)." Abygale tried to reassure me, but it didn't worked.

" Then why haven't I seen him at school? Gaito, acted weird after he lost to Gao."So I want answers!" I demanded earning a sigh. " (Name), he's fine. Gaito, is really upset at the moment." Abygale told me.

I looked at the abandon factory, where I knew the boy was inside. I sighed as I sat on the ground and Abygale sat next to me. " Abygale, do you think Gaito will get better?" I asked softly.

" You mean if he ever will stop caring if he wins or lose?" " I really don't know." Abygale replied as I put my hands on my face. " I just feel useless!" I shouted while holding back tears.

I felt the dragon pat my back. " There, there. " I promise, everything will get better." He promised as I looked at him. " Thank you. " I mumbled.

" by the way, isn't almost time for the big match." Abygale reminded me. I gasped,  when I realized he was right. " Thanks for reminding me!" I exclaimed as I hugged the dragon.

I pulled away after a few seconds and started running of. " See you later, Penguin Dragon!" I called over my shoulder. " I'm not a penguin!" Abygale shouted as I giggled.
