Kiri x Reader Part 3

" I don't know what scares me more. The fact that Kyoya almost caused an apocalypse again, or the fact that I was useless again." I sighed as I lay down on the ground. The grass is tickling my exposed legs, arms and neck. But I didn't care. I couldn't help Gao at all again. I feel like a cheerleader, and I don't want to be a cheerleader! I sighed in frustration as I close my eyes. At least the sounds of the river is slightly calming me down.

At last it was calming until I felt water splashing on me. I immediately sat up with a startled gasp. I looked around when I hear the unmistakable sound of laughter. I soon found the source of the laughter. My boyfriend Kiri was having trouble standing up since he was to busy laughing. He is in his true form so I knew for sure that he is the one who splashed water on me. " This isn't funny, Miserea!" I shouted using his real name to show him how mad I was. " Sorry, sorry! I just want to help you cool down." Kiri chuckled. " You spend way to much time with Joker." I muttered.

I watch as Kiri transforms into his human form. " Do you mind if I ask why you were ranting, (Name)?" Kiri asked me. I think about it as he sits down next to me. " I think I am just a cheerleader for everyone. I can't do anything except watching and waiting for the outcome in a buddyfight. I just feel so useless." I told Kiri.

" You are not useless, (Name). You help all your friends, you cheer everyone up when they are sad, and you always come up with great strategies." Kiri told me as he gently brushes a strand of my hair from my face. I felt my cheeks heat up from that. " You are so cute." Kiri smiled softly as he leans closer to me. I felt my blush get worse as his lips touches mine. I close my eyes and kiss back. The kiss lasted for three minutes since a little thing called air got in the way. Stupid lungs! We smile at each other as we parted.

I really am a cheerleader, but that doesn't mean I am useless. I'm just glad that Kiri was here to cheer me up. Maybe I should start playing buddyfight tomorrow. I think I will be using a Dungeon world deck.
