Won't you come out
I've been waiting for you
Holding my breath
Til my body turned blue
We've got everything to lose
Yeah I'm waiting on you

Sun's come up
And there's no one else around
Meet me in the shadows
Won't you tell me what you found
You've got everything to lose
Yeah I'm waiting on you

Say you have a little faith in me
Just close your eyes and let me lead
Follow me home

Need to have a little trust in me
Just close your eyes and let me lead
Follow me home
To where the lonely ones roam

Need to have a little trust in meJust close your eyes and let me leadFollow me homeTo where the lonely ones roam

"If the monster existed, it was deep within him"

Susan didn't dare to deal with the Unforgivable Curses for a while and Tom seemed to agree. At least he got the experiment he wanted and didn't wish to ask anymore.
The only troubles that they had to take came from the classes and the other students.

She had been into the infirmary for a couple of hours, but as soon as she got the permission, she ran to look for Tom.
He just exited the lesson she missed and looked relieved to see her
"Higgs took your bag. Here are my notes".
She looked at the parchments he handed her, admiring his elegant handwriting "Perfect as usual. Thanks a lot".
"My pleasure. How do you feel?".
"Better, just a slight headache".
"You should have some rest" he started to care too much, but that just disoriented her.
"I'm fine, really. I needed to talk to you".
"Okay. I'm listening".
She kep her mind closed. She stifled a shiver, lowering her voice "Ehm, I need to show you something. Can we meet tonight at midnight?".
"Sure" he put a gentle hand on her shoulder "Only if you go to take some rest now. I'll take all the notes for you, don't worry".
She had to surrender and obeyed.

They met again for dinner, then after patrolling, the girl finally lead him to her probably useless discovery.
"I'm sorry I had to involve you with this..." She said while walking fast into the deserted corridors.
"Sorry? You know how much I like this stuff. Even if I had to wait for hours and still I don't have a hint" he slightly winked at her, but she just felt more guilty. She didn't want to disappoint him. Maybe she was just mad and was going to make a fool of herself.
"Well, I need to show you. I wouldn't know how to explain. And it's into the girls' lavatory, that's why I couldn't show you earlier" all her attemps to look objective failed. She felt herself blushing and had to turn and speed up.

An accident during Potion burned her neck and made her run to that lavatory to wash away the drops of the liquid from her skin, trying to fight the nausea. She grabbed the borders of the sink and tried to get some water, but the tap didn't work.
She surrendered to her convulsing stomach, cursing herself for forgetting that that tap never worked.
With the corner of her eyes she noticed something she never saw before. A small snake engraved on the tap.
She thought back at what she read about Corvinus Black. He attented the school when there had been the installation of the new plumbing system.
She thought of the quest that Tom never gave up on. So she had to show him that.
