Feeling my way through the darkness
Guided by a beating heart
I can't tell you where the journey will end
But I know where to start
They tell me I'm too young to understand
They say I'm caught up in a dream
Well life will pass me by if I don't open up my eyes
Well that's fine by me

So wake me up when it's all over
When I'm wiser and I'm older
All this time I was finding myself and I
Didn't know I was lost

So wake me up when it's all overWhen I'm wiser and I'm olderAll this time I was finding myself and IDidn't know I was lost

Rules got more stricted.
It got impossible to Apparate and Disapparate within Hogwarts except for one hour in the Great Hall during the Apparition lessons.
Susan was grateful she already mastered it.

Even going out of the castle was scheduled and wasn't recommended, since the centaurs were still upset for the murder of their mate and were accusing the school's authorities of  inefficient protection systems.

After some days Grindelwald's topic wasn't trending anymore and the  academic daily routine took over.
Susan was still recovering from that experience, incredulous that she escaped death again and she wasn't committed with any crime. But she would have felt more satisfied if when Grindelwald was keeping her as a hostage she would have broken his hex and broke his wand.

Tom's secret mission turned out to be an heroic initiative of the most dutiful prefect the school ever had.
And even his followers were awarded with a new shining popularity.

Susan looked at the students walking around her. They smiled at her when usually they were scared of meeting her.
"What's in your mind?" Tom appeared at her back and she turned her smile to him.
"I'm just happy that everything went for the best".
"Same for me" his joyful face was something so lovely to see.
"Did I already thank you?".
"Yes, at least a thousand times willingly or unwillingly".
She laughed saying in a lower tone "You fixed everything again, as you promised, my Lord".
Tom grinned but kept himself from replying since they were still in the middle of a crowd.
"So I'll see you at dinner?".
"Sure" she cursed against her annoying tasks as prefect, but kept her smile watching the boy taking the opposite direction.
He suddenly stopped and she wondered what he might have forgotten.
The boy walked back to her and before she could guess his intentions he pressed his lips on hers, kissing her in public for the first time.

The new trip to Hogsmeade involved most of the teachers and prefects, so Tom and Susan decided to stay at school and enjoy a sunny day.
And their followers were free to have some fun in the village.
The couple sat on the green grass near the bank of the dark lake, whose smooth surface was reflecting the sunlight.
Live exploded around them, with flowers of different colors under a blue sky.
Susan enjoyed the sight, feeling she didn't need anything else. She was alive, she felt good and in peace, she was with the person she cared the most in the world in the place they called home.
"What are you thinking of?" He asked laying next to her.
She crossed him eyes and let him see into her mind.
"I'm happy too" he admitted smiling  "I don't want to be anywhere else than with my lady".
She faintly laughed "Do I look like a lady?".
He smirked and stood up to approach the lake under her intrigued gaze.
Tom waved his hands in the water and when he retreated them the water droplets formed a necklace of shining diamonds.
The girl gasped, helping him to lace  it around her neck.
"A lovely necklace is enough to make me a lady?".
"More a queen I'd say" he sat next to her taking his wand out and looking at the blossoming tree above them.
"And a queen needs something like this".
The wind made some petals fall and Tom waved his wand making them whirl till they formed a diadem that he placed on her head.
"You can do everything, don't you?".
He grinned "Anything to please you".
She rested her head on his chest, enjoying the good time and not caring if it couldn't last long.  She didn't want to wake up from that dream.
