Jonathan watched, as Isabelle left the room. They had talked about Mia until Isabelle felt tired. He laid gently next to her on the soft sheets. Mia stirred in her sleep, and snuggled against the quilt. Mia then quickly turned over and hugged him tightly in her sleep. Jonathan couldn't keep the growing smile off of his face, and he hugged her back. They laid like that for a while before he finally fell asleep too.

"Again!" Jonathan's Father shouted. Sweat was dripping down Jonathan's face as he was getting his breath back. He
had been training with his father for hours.
"This will not be enough to overthrow the clave. Again!" He said before getting his demon metal-tipped whip out. Jonathan quickly began to do the training again. This time he actually did it faster. He looked over at his father, looking for some type of approval from him, but there wasn't any.
After the endless training, Valentine left to train Jace. Before he left he took a falcon with him. Jonathan was left to learn Romanian from a book. Jonathan had got bored after a while and began to explore the mansion. He found a library and walked in.
He had never been in this library before. The walls were covered in books, floor to ceiling. Ladders leant against the walls looked ancient. Stood in the corner was a grand piano covered in a grey cloth. Jonathan walked over to it and took the sheet off, causing a cloud of dust to surround him. The piano was peppercorn coloured and looked really expensive. Jonathan tried to open it but the shiny gold lock prevented it from opening. Jonathan sighed as he walked around the room looking for the key. He eventually found it in a secret compartment in the desk next to the door. The key slid into the lock and Jonathan lifted the cover and brushed his fingers over the keys. Valentine used to say that his mum used to play, but that might have been another of his lies. Jonathan sat down on the stool and pressed a key. The sound echoed in the small room.
Jonathan smiled and continued to play.
