          Jonathan/Sebastian

Jonathan watched his sister leave the hall of accords with angel boy and that lightworm. "Damn it." He cursed as he gracefully made his way towards the door a little after.

"Why you in such a hurry to leave?" Jonathan didn't even have to turn around to know who said it. But he did anyways and he was actually very glad that he did. There she was, the lovely Mia Herondale, leaning against one of the pillars, dressed in the gear of shadowhunters. Jonathan had to admit that it indeed suited her frame, hugged her curves in all the right places, sharpened her already beautiful features, and her dark blonde hair in a ponytail cascading down over her shoulders only made the sight more amazing.

"The things that I would do to you in just a couple of seconds if you weren't out to kill me for hurting your parabatai."

She laughed a very sarcastic laugh, and for some reason it made Jonathan smile. Oh how he missed her and how her personality fit so perfectly for him. "Glad to know you figured out when to keep your hands to yourself."

Jonathan smirked. "I'm trying the hardest I ever have honestly."

That made her smile. "Well stop trying and take what you want. Attempt to make it yours again." She challenged.

"Oh Herondale be careful with the words you speak." Jonathan replied as he slowly moved toward her with that devilish smirk of his.

"News flash Morgenstern, I'm not ever going to fear you." She whispered as he got closer, pressing her against the pillar.

Placing his hands on both sides to block her from escaping, he moved his face closer."You know, I'm glad your okay. I was pretty sure I didn't hit you that hard, but a little part of me was still worried."

Mia looked into his eyes."If you cared so much why couldn't you have just stayed to make sure?"

"Well I couldn't exactly wait for the Lightwoods to show up to the sight of me conscious and two girls unconscious. Wouldn't exactly have been my best situation, especially solving it."

Laughing, Mia wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. "I'm sure you could've made up some excuse, I mean you are a Morgenstern."

   "I am, arent I?"

She smiled and somehow managed to quickly escape his entrapment he had around her. "See ya Seb!" She teased as she began racing towards the gard.

Jonathan smirked. "So that's how we're gonna play huh?" and he began his journey to the gard.

                 Mia Herondale

As soon as she got there she knew something was happening, due to the fact that Simon was out but the four were huddled by the barred windows that allowed you to see into the gard cells, and then Jace began crawling through the no longer barred window. Mia shook her head and continued to walk towards them until she was behind Clary. "What's going on now?"

Alec turned around. "Simon made a psychotic jail friend who doesn't want to come out, so Jace went in to get him."

Mia looked at Clary who shot Simon an angry look. "How could you let him do that?" Clary questioned her best friend.

"Well, he couldn't leave that guy down there to die," Alec said unexpectedly, although he looked a little anxious himself. "It's Jace we're talking about here--"

He broke off as two hands rose up out of the smoke. Alec grabbed one and Simon the other, together they hauled the phsycotic jail friend like a sack of potatoes out of the cell and deposited him on the lawn. A moment later Mia and Clary were grabbing Jace's hands and pulling him out, and then he collapsed onto his back. "Ouch," he said, staring up at the sky. "I think I pulled something." He sat up and glanced over at Simon's jail friend. "Is he okay?"

Simon's friend sat hunched on the ground, his hands splayed over his face. He was rocking back and forth soundlessly.

"I think there's something wrong with him." Mia said and Alec reached down to touch the guys shoulder. The guy jerked away, almost toppling over. "Leave me alone," he said, his voice cracking. "Please. Leave me alone, Alec."

Mia went still all over and she could tell that Alec had heard that same thing since he seemed to have gone still as well. "What did you say?"

"He said to leave him alone," said Simon, but Alec wasn't looking at him, didn't even appear to notice that the vampire had spoken. He was looking at Jace-who, suddenly very pale, had already begun to rise to his feet.

"Samuel," Alec said. His tone had become harsh. "Take your hands away from your face."

"No." Samuel tucked his chin down, his shoulders shaking. "No, please. No"

"Alec!" Simon protested. "Can't you see he isn't well?"

Good thing Clary caught at his sleeve. "Simon, there's something wrong."

Mia looked at her younger brother as he moved to stare down at the crouched figure of Samuel. The tips of Jace's fingers bleeding from where he'd scraped them on the window ledge. His eyes wide, his mouth a flat, angry line. "Shadowhunter," he said, his voice deathly clear. "Show us your face."

Samuel hesitated before he dropped his hands, and Mia looked at Samuel, trying to let what she was seeing process. Her lips moved but no sound came out. It was Jace who spoke.

   "Hodge," he said.
