'Dan...We're not breaking up are we?' It hurt Kyle to say those words. He couldn't help thinking that he was going to loose Dan as much as he wanted to bat those thoughts away.
Dan suddenly shot up from his seat. 'Jesus Kyle, of course we're not breaking up! I know that's what they want but I won't let that happen. ' He wrapped his arms round Kyle and he suddenly relaxed. 'I'm sorry if I worried you, but I love you too much to let you go.' He still sounded so scared but for once was being an optimist about the situation. Kyle kissed him lightly, and they both just seemed to forget about the current situation.
'We still need to go through all this okay?' Kyle said protectively as he sat down with Dan close by his side. 'Is it just these messages?'
'Ummm, no.'
'What?'
'Well, this is the reason I messed up a lot towards the end of the performance tonight. There was someone towards the side of the crowd, They were holding a up a sign but it had pretty small print. When I went over to that side of the stage I read what it said...' He paused, 'It said about how we should break up. Basically the same as the messages, but how did they find out about us? I couldn't see their face because of the sign but as soon as I read it they put it down and I still couldn't see who it was...I'm sorry.'
'Woah! Don't apologise! Listen it's fine. We'll find out who it is, who have you actually told already?' Kyle put his arm around Dan's waist and pulled him in. He noticed a few beer bottles on the table, two empty and one half empty. He grabbed the half empty one and took a sip.
'Ummm, well all the crew know...I told Sophie, Kate, Ralph and Fran. They said they wouldn't tell anyone though, and I trust them.'
There was a moment of silence before Kyle finally realised something.
'Dan...' He put down the bottle.
'hmm?'
'Rosie. Maybe it's Rosie!' They both looked as if they'd just found out the meaning of life.
'Shit Kyle. Of course it's her! Fuck's sake why didn't I think of that straight away! We have to tell management. Straight away.' He got up out his seat and clenched his fists.
'Woah Dan calm down.' Kyle got up and grabbed Dan's waist. 'Lets wait for the crew to get back, we can tell Dick and then he can ring our management. It's gonna be fine love.'
'That bitch. I can't believe her.'
'Dan.'
'Sorry.'
'Come here' Dan walked straight into Kyle's arms, his face resting on his boyfriends shoulder. It was only then when he realised how tired he was.
'Ky, can we just go to the hotel and sleep?' He didn't even look up so his words were slightly muffled.
'Of course.' Kyle laughed at Dan and ruffled his hair. They headed to the hotel where they all had single rooms to themselves but of course the pair wanted to share a room so they just used Kyle's.
'Ky?' Dan was laying half asleep with his one arm and leg strung over Kyle's body.
'Yes babe?'
'What are we gonna do...about all this that's going on'
'We're going to sort it. Stop worrying and get some sleep alright?'
'Yeah okay.'
About thirty seconds passed...
'Kyle?'
'Yeah?'
'Do you think maybe we will get married on day? You know...You and me.'
Kyle laughed quietly as he stroked his tired boyfriend's hair.
'I think we maybe will get married one day Danny.'
'You and me?'
'Yes babe, you and me.'
'That sounds good.'
'It does. Now stop talking and sleep okay?'
'Okay...' Dan sighed happily but tiredly and pulled himself closer to Kyle.
Another thirty seconds...
'Wait, Kyle?'
'What is it babe?
'I love you, you know.'
'I know. I love you too.'
'Can we sleep now?'
Kyle was trying to hold in his laughter but he found Dan too cute. 'Of course we can Danny' He wished he could hear Dan talk all night but, aswell as Dan, he was exaushted. Before he fell asleep he thought about him and Dan getting married. Maybe it will happen one day.
Hopefully.
