Dan woke after Kyle again. He grabbed his phone from the bedside table to check the time.

He had to meet management for a meeting at three so he started to think of what he could do with Kyle in the meantime. They could go out for breakfast? They could go out to a shopping center? They could even just go to the park for a few hours. Just as all these ideas came flowing in, Kyle walked in the room already dressed.
'Hey babe, did you sleep well?'
'Yea thanks.' He smiled 'Why are you dressed?'
'I was gonna ask you, The lads have asked me if I wanted to go out for the morning. I'll be back before three. Is it alright if I go out? I mean, you can come with us if you want?' Dan tried to hide the disappointment as Kyle sat next to him on the bed.
'Yeah that's fine. I should probably go back to mine to sort some stuff out anyway.'
'Are you sure you don't want to come?'
He was defiantly sure. He didn't want to be hanging out with Kyle and his friends when they didn't know about their relationship. Perhaps Kyle would tell them today but it would probably be awkward if he was their anyway.
'Yeah I'm sure. I'll probably make it awkward.'
'Dan don't be stupid. If you don't feel comfortable with going then that's fine. I'm borrowing John's car over Christmas so I can drop you off at yours on the way.' He wrapped his arm around Dan's waist and kissed his cheek. Dan smiled slightly. He didn't want to stop Kyle from going out with his friends, but he couldn't help feel slightly disappointed.

By time Dan and Kyle left, it was about 9am.
The car ride wasn't awkward but Dan didn't really say anything. He also found it slightly uncomfortable because he was still in pain from the previous day's events. He didn't let this show though, he didn't want to make Kyle worry. Just as they pulled up in front of Dan's flat, Kyle sighed and spoke.
'Dan...Is everything alright?'
Dan didn't look up, he just nodded. He was trying so hard to not bring anything up or show any signs that he isn't alright. He himself didn't really understand why he isn't alright.
'Dan, look at me.' Dan looked slowly up at Kyle who had a hold of his hand. 'What's wrong?'
'I'm fine Kyle honestly. I'm...I'm just worrying slightly about the meeting later but I know we'll be fine.' He lied. He couldn't help it. He didn't want to lie but he couldn't let Kyle not go out with his friends just because of him being disappointed. He didn't want to be that boyfriend.
'It'll be alright love, you know I will never leave your side.'
'Thanks Ky, anyway I'll see you later.' He leaned in and Kissed Kyle. Just as he opened the door to get out the car Kyle grabbed his hand. Dan turned round confused.
'I love you Danny.'
He couldn't help a smile. 'I love you too.'

Dan stood there letting the hot water run over his aching body. It was relaxing letting all his thoughts wash away. He must have been in the shower for about 30 minutes before he realised how long he'd been. He got out and dried himself with a fluffy towel. He got dressed and felt so good and refreshed. So calm compared to before. He decided to not let little things ruin his day.
'Hey Kate! Just wondered if you, Sophie and Ralph wanted to go to a café or the park or something this morning?' He spoke to his friend on the phone.
