It had been just about four weeks since Dan found out the news about his father. They'd also performed twice since then as they're now back on tour.
He seems to be coping with things quite well. Hasn't even had a panic attack since.
But Kyle can't help but feel anxious that this is just leading up to a mental breakdown of his. A lot more serious than it sounds.
But, now in the present, it's actually Dan's Birthday. They're playing a show tonight but that doesn't stop them from having all day to do whatever they like.

'Mmm?'
'Happy Birthday. You wanna go out today?'
'Thankyou, again. And yeah sure, I just...I dunno.'
'Listen, I know things are still hard.' Kyle held onto both of Dan's hands and leaned their foreheads together. 'But you need to let loose a bit. I don't wanna sound mean, but today's your birthday! And you deserve to have an amazing, chilled day.'
'I...Okay, I'm sorry.' Dan smiled slightly.
'Don't say sorry baby, just...Lets just enjoy the day alright? You deserve it.'
'Alright, alright. Where do you wanna go? I don't know what's round here.'
Kyle pulled away, still holding onto both Dan's hands. 'Well, I was thinking we could go explore the city, and then I found this really nice restaurant that the rest of the crew can meet us at afterwards...if you'd like that..'
'I'd love that.' Dan pulled Kyle in again, this time kissing him slowly.
'Get a rooooooom.' Will walked into the main lounge of the tour bus, where Kyle and Dan were previously alone.
'Shut up. Me and Dan are going out for a bit so...'
'We'll meet you there later then yeah?'
'Yeah, yeah. Uh, Dan you gonna get a jacket? Incase it gets cold or something..'
'Kyle, it's like thirty degrees out...I'll go get my sunglasses though.' Dan giggled before jogging out the room.
'Shit. Uh anyway, bring the cake yeah?'
'Sorted mate, don't worry.'
'Thanks William.'
'No problem Kylie-'
'Cool, let's go' Dan walked back into the room, that signature smile on his face.
Kyle put his arm around Dan's neck as they walked out of the tour bus. They gradually made there way towards the city centre. The gorgeous city of Rome.
'What do you wanna do first?'
'I kinda wanna go sight seeing first...If that's alright with you as well obviously.'
'Perfect. Let me just get google up and we're ready to go then.'
They had been exploring all the big tourist sights for a few hours already. They headed back to the busy cobbled streets, laughing carelessly.
Posting anything on social media was something they actually avoided so being noticed by fans wasn't a problem either. It was Dan's perfect day, and it had really only just began.
