'What?! Why not?'

'Dan we're sorry...this is the one thing we can't allow to happen.'

'Yes but why?'

'Calm down love, just hear them out.' Kyle held onto Dan's arm.

'Well, we already hired the directors and they've written out the plan for the video, I'm sorry, it'll cost so much more money to change everything. And besides, maybe it's best because it could be a little risky. What if you and Kyle spl-'

'Don't say it please. Fine. We won't come out in the video then.'

'Dan we are sorry.'

'It's fine.' Dan got up, leaving the room swiftly. Kyle left at the table sighing.

'I'm sorry, I understand there's not much you can do now. He'll come around, might just need a bit of time. Thank you anyway.' Kyle then got up and exited the room, keeping an eye out for Dan.

'Dan-'
'I...Okay. Thanks for letting me know.' Kyle turned the corner and saw Dan standing on the phone. He ended the call, looking up towards Kyle. His breathing quickened and he suddenly had no motivation to do anything.

Kyle rushed over and quickly held him in case he fell. He knows what's happened.
He didn't want to say anything though. He just held Dan in place for a few moments.

'He's...He's dead Kyle.' Dan spoke quietly. When he looked up, Kyle was surprised he wasn't crying.

'I'm so sorry Danny. Let's get home alright?' He could tell Dan really didn't wanna be there, but he had no motivation to move.

'Please.' And with that, Kyle kept a tight grip on his boyfriends waste as they walked out of the office and towards the tube station.

'How you doing?' Kyle walked into his and Dan's bedroom.

'I'm...Doing okay. Im good yeah.' His voice was low and he smiled slightly while shifting positions so he was seated.

Kyle walked over and sat beside him. 'You're so strong Danny.' He reached for one of Dan's hands, rubbing his thumb over Dan's knuckles. 'He's so proud of you. We all are.'

'Thank you Ky. I just can't...I can't believe it.' For the first time, his eyes filled with tears. He was trying to hold it in.
All he kept thinking was how much he's cried recently.
He's not a real man.

'Dan.'
'Mmm?'
'It's okay to cry you know.'
'I know.'
A single tear escaped his glassy eyes and he lay back into Kyle's arms.
