Chapter 2

Kayla POV

"It's now or never" I whispered as I opened Matt's door.

I walked into Matt's room and see him sitting on his bed on the phone with someone.

I sat in his computer chair trying to hear who was on the phone. It was a girl voice, one that wasn't his mom.

"Got to go bye!" Matt said as he quickly hung up the phone.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Oh no one..." Matt said nervously.

He was hiding something.

"So what did you call me over here for?" I said, not wanting to hear the answer.

"Kayla. I'm sorry..."

I froze.

"Look, I had a little bit to drink and..."

"You did something with that girl didn't you Matthew." I said angry.

He didn't answer. I was staring at him as I felt my anger rising.

That's it. I saw it.

"MATTHEW LEE WHY DO YOU HAVE HICKEYS ON YOUR NECK?! HICKEYS THAT AREN'T FROM ME!? DO YOU REALLY CARE THAT LITTLE ABOUT ME THAT YOU COULD CHEAT ON ME WITH JUST A LITTLE BIT OF ALCOHOL IN YOUR SYSTEM!?"

He just stared at me. He didn't say anything.

I'm heart broken. I'm angry. I'm upset.

"Matthew I love you why would you do this to me?"

He starts to say something but he still sits there silent.

I can't take it anymore.

I run out of his room, down his stairs, through the living room and out the door.

I hear Cam and Shawn follow behind me.
