"Sometimes in life, we are faced with warnings, and these "warnings" are a sign for what's to come. We often overlook these warnings as just "mere coincidences." These warnings prepare us for what is, and will eventually become.......

Chapter 17:

Warnings

Gifted:

I watched him as he walked away only to see him be greeted by "Zahara." "I watched as he kissed her causing her to blush, and light up with "excitement." "As much as I hated to admit it, I "envied her." "I envied her for being an ability to cheat, and still have him come back to her as if nothing happened."

"I envied her for having that "one person" who loved, and cared for her no matter what happened in life itself." "She had something I always wanted, and that was "true love."

"Wow, it's so obvious you have feelings for him," Nakia said as she caught me staring at him.

" What are you talking about??"

"I don't have feelings for him," I told her.

"Yea, okay says the one whose eyes light up whenever you see him" she cautioned me.

"Do you see the way your eyes light up whenever you see him????"

" The way your heart beats, whenever he is standing in the same room as you?????" she asked.

"These are all "warning signs" that you either like him or have feelings for him," she told me.

I couldn't help but feel a feeling of "disappointment" as I watched him kiss, and hug her despite her "infidelity."

It was clear that he had "robust feelings" for this woman, and was going to have a hard time letting her go if another woman, came into the picture.

"He would never want someone like me," I said to myself as I listened to what Nakia was saying to me.

"His heart, mind, body, and soul belongs to Zahara," I told myself.

"Yea, whatever I told her so you say let's go out, and celebrate," I said to her changing the subject.

"Okay," she replied.

We then exited the building, as Devon Richardson was left staring at us.......

"So where do you want to go????" I asked her as we headed outside in the cool crisp breezy air.

"I'm not trying to get all turned up tonight" I cautioned her.

"Let's go out, and eat."

"Ugh you're, so boring at times but because I love you I'll go outlet eat with you" she teased.

"I laughed" at her slick remark.

"There's this new restaurant that opened near 60th and Market Street."

"Let's go check it out" she insisted.

"Cool," I said as we headed back to the car.

Nakia:

Nakia starts driving she notices a man driving a 2017 Mercedes Benz.

"Wow, he's "cute," she thought as continued to admire his appearance in the next lane. He must have heard her remark because he kept staring at her, and smiling.

"Oh God, here we go," I thought to myself.

He was tall, had hazel brown eyes, curly brown hair, and mocha skin, and yes he was very "handsome." Judging from his attire, she could tell he was a businessman because his black tuxedo complemented his physical appearance.
