When I opened my eyes both Nakia, and the doctor was by my side. Nakia smiled at me as she watched me open my eyes.

"Wow, the natural black Queen has finally awakened, from her beauty sleep" Nakia teased.

"Oh you have jokes," I said.

I tried to laugh, but the pain was hurting me too much.

My body was swollen, and I felt like crap not just physically, but also, "mentally."

How are you feeling?? the doctor asked.

"Like crap" I replied.

"I understand, you'll feel like this for a while, but eventually everything will get better" he reassured me.

"We want you to get plenty of rest while your here."

Does he know?? Nakia asked.

"No, he doesn't, this is to be kept a secret" I instructed.

"Doc, that goes for you too."

"Please keep this between us."

"I don't understand" the doctor replied in confusion.

"He is a wealthy man, he would have taken care of care of the baby" the doctor reminded me.

"You're wrong" I replied.

"He doesn't love me, or care about me."

"He can't know I was carrying his child, " I said with sadness in my voice.

Me and Nakia put our heads down in disappointment as silence filled the air.

Devon:

Devon sat down, at his desk as he thought about the dream he had about me last night. He thought about the doctor, and what he was about to say she's preg---- kept replaying in his mind. Suddenly, a knock at the door disrupted his thoughts.

"Come in," Devon said. In walked Stevenson.

"Yo, have you heard from Gifted???" he asked.

No why?? Devon asked with concern.

"I'm worried about her."

"She was supposed to be recording some music in the studio, but she never showed up, that's not like her" Stevenson revealed.

"I'm sure she's just running late have you asked Nakia???" Devon suggested.

"I can't even get in touch with her."

"I keep getting their voicemail."

"Somethings not right" he insisted.

Devon started thinking about the dream he had last night.

"I'm pretty sure it's nothing," Devon said.

"I don't know man, she's been acting pretty strange lately."

"She hasn't been acting like her usual self."

Before he could finish what he was saying, another knock came at the door.

"Who is it???" Devon snapped.

"It's Chris," he said as he walked in.

Can I help you??? Devon asked as he glared at him.
