                                                   Miracle

"Excuse me I have to take this call," Devon said getting up from the table.

"I'm stuffed breakfast was good," Nakia said as she and Stevenson got up from the table.

Devon walked into the hallway to take the call as we began to exit the table.

"I'll do the dishes," I told them.

"I was thinking me, and you should go shopping you know to hang out and get some fresh air," Nakia suggested.

"I'll be okay I need to start getting this song together for the opening act this week" I reminded Nakia.

'Are you sure??" she asked.

" Yeah, girl I'll catch up with you later," I told her as I walked over to the kitchen to start doing the dishes.

"Come on I'm going to go out, and get air for a while," Stevenson told a worried Nakia.

"Care to join me Stevenson??" asked Sure Nakia said as they exited the front door.

I started watching dishes until the television showed breaking news across the screen.

"There has been a terrible accident on route 95." "One of the drivers is alive," but the other person driving the vehicle has been rushed to the emergency hospital." "There's still no word if the person whose name has been unidentified will pull through," the news reporter said.

"Damn, I hope that person survived," I said as I continued washing dishes.

Zahara:

The ambulance came quickly to retrieve Zahara's body

Are you her boyfriend?? the person driving the ambulance asked as he put her motionless body in the back of the ambulance.

"We were both driving when her car collided with mine."

Were you driving under influence?? he asked.

"No, we were both sober "the driver replied.

"Okay, I'm going to need you to come with us for further questioning,"  he told the driver.

"Okay, fine please just save the woman," he said.

"We'll do everything in our power to save her" he reassured him as the driver entered the ambulance.

The ambulance pulled off as Sirens filled the air.

Once at the hospital the paramedics rushed Zahara through the revolving doors as she lay stretched out on the bed.

"Sir, we're going to need you to stay out here if we're able to stabilize her condition you'll be informed," the doctor said.

The driver nodded his head nervously.

"She is losing a lot of blood here guys," one of the doctors said as they each passed tools around. The monitor showed a flat line.

"Let's see if we can save her another doctor," said as he began using the equipment to try to bring her back to life.

"I 2 3," they said as they watched the monitor.
