Fly

You've been crying within these concrete walls

No matter how many times you tried to remain strong all you did was stumble and fall

You're a caged bird wanting to break free

You have some much light and greatness within you that it needs to be seen

The time is now to break free

from all the suffering and pain from the anxieties insecurities worries that caused to stay

You were told you're inadequate but you're adequate
You're told you don't matter but you're important and matter

You're told you will never amount to anything when the reality is you will

You're told you're unworthy when in actuality you're loved
You have talent  potential and  a light that symbolizes hope

You're afraid to break free

Afraid that others will reject you and look at you differently
Little do you know you are the change the world needs to see

Your passion your drive your ambition your greatness has the ability to set millions free

Those chains that once held you back won't hold you back anymore as you give unto others what they need

I view you as a caterpillar who is waiting to evolve

Your wings are waiting to fully blossom and once you emerge into your final transition all your trials tests and tribulations will be solved

You are a butterfly and it is time to spread your wings It is time to be what you were destined to become or eventually be

In a world filled with darkness, your worth and value will light up the world

You are no longer that caged bird or caterpillar because of you I know why a caterpillar is to be viewed as beautiful and a caged bird no longer sings

Within these concrete walls, I no longer hear your cries this is your time to shine and evolve you're free to be what you we're manifested to become and be open your eyes

It's time to Fly...............

Gifted:

The next few weeks I spent my time trying to emerge, and fly into something more than someone who experienced misfortunes, and sorrow when it came to love.

I used my experiences, as a way to cause me "spiritual growth." Meaning, I redirected my focus to my music instead.

Though the tour was postponed until further notice, I continued to focus on my gifts, and passion until my gifts, and passion were "perfected."

All my time was consumed with writing, and recording music in the studio. I, Devon still hadn't worked on the songs we were supposed to be doing together, but that didn't bother me.

I barely saw him because the more I focused on the studio, the fewer chances I had with seeing Devon Richardson. Soon, I was doing remakes to several songs that were in high demand requested by fans I had obtained, while I started working for Famous Records.

I felt myself at a point in life where I wanted to be.

Singing, and focusing on my gifts. Though I wasn't featured on the Mixtape just yet, I knew my time would eventually come, and that I would also, have my own album in 2018 so I just remained focused, and dedicated until that time came.

For the first time, I felt like I was flying, and ready to take the world head on...

You couldn't tell me nothing I was "flying," and I was "unstoppable." My fan base increased "drastically." Fame and stardom had become my primary focus, and greatest love......

Last time I had heard from Devon, was when I was watching the Wendy Williams show which said that rumors had been speculating, that he was no longer seeing  Zahara Thomas.

Supposedly, they had broken up, and we're on a big break. Wendy tried to say, he was seeing someone else, but I knew that was too good to be true. He was deeply in love with her so I actually found that hard to "believe."

Soon he toured with Zahara while the others continued to work on their music until it was time for them to tour as well. Nakia and Stevenson finally became a couple. They were "inseparable."

I knew it was only a matter of time before they became "exclusive."
She continued to work her behind off, and it paid off because Devon gave her the 100,000.00 contract.

Nakia not only created the outfits for the upcoming "Famous Records tour," she also,  had every last design ready for the Fashion show which would be taking place in mid-April. Stevenson continued to help me out in the studio.

It seemed like everyone was flying in their own unique way.

"Now your probably thinking everything is good no more drama right??"

Wrong! 

"This is fame and where there's fame there is also, drama love, lust, deceit, including betrayal."

"Things took a sudden change some may call it "fate," whatever the case is, all I know is my whole life changed after this one phone call." 

I watched as my phone began to vibrate in my hand as Devon Richardson's name flashed across the screen.

"Meet me at the bar we need to discuss somethings" I read out loud.

I was hesitant, about meeting up with him. I hadn't seen him in several weeks, and the last time we talked, our conversation didn't end too well.

I had also, been getting pretty close to Chris the same Chris, he didn't want me near. I didn't see why Devon didn't like him so much. He seemed like a "sweetheart."

We weren't exclusive, but we did hang out once in a while.

People started thinking me, and Chris were an "item" but we weren't.
If anything, we were just "friends" "nothing more nothing less."

"Come on Gifted, you can do this, he just wants to meet with you to discuss business."

There is nothing more to this" I tried to convince myself.

"Was there nothing more?"

"Or was there?"

I was definitely about to find out.

I took a deep breath and prepared myself for what was about to take place.

"Little did I know, I was unprepared for the events that were about to unfold."
