Fame

"The doctor's eventually discharged me. I went home, and the next couple of weeks seemed to drag. I stayed in been for at least "6 weeks."

" Nakia worked and made sure I barely got up. I ate, slept, took a shower wrote music, songs, and poetry."

"I ate slept, took a shower, and the cycle repeated "over, and over again." "I was tired of being stuck in the apartment I was ready to go back to work. "

"I called my employer, and they reassured me I would still have my job when I returned."

Today I received a call from my doctor who also, told me that I would be able to leave my apartment which meant I was "free from prison."

That brought me comfort!!!

I no longer felt any cramping, swelling, or any symptoms I had while pregnant." "Tomorrow I planned on going back to work."

"Apart from me, felt like I was dedicated to my work more than my "career path."

"I didn't want to work as a "Retail Associate, or a "Cleaning Attendant" all my life."

"My goal was to work on my career, and to eventually become a well known "recording artist, songwriter, and poet."

"Until then, I remained "assiduous" by working extremely hard."

"I got up to prepare myself something to eat when an "excited" Nakia, stormed through the door."

"Oh shoot, what have you all smiling, and crap did u meet a fine brother??" I asked.

"It's about time I sang in a jokingly matter."

"Hahahahaha, very funny" she replied.

"Famous Records" is having auditions for singers, and dancers she said" holding up what appeared to be a flyer she received at work.

"It's all over the news, Richardson will be there. "

"Richardson??" I thought to myself

"Why did that name sound familiar um okay, and he is??"

"You are definitely, getting out more after today." "Everyone knows who Richardson is. " "Devon Richardson, the well-known recording artist, and millionaire who owns "Famous Records." "You can't miss his fine sexy self he is everything" she insisted.

"Yeah, I heard of him, but I never actually got a chance to see what he looks like." "But is he really that fine, and handsome, or all you'll just on his top because he has money I asked??"

"Both" she replied with a big grin.

"Devon Richardson is the whole package, and then some."

"Girl, let one of us get ahold of him it's a wrap lol."

"Yea okay, imagine that," I said.

"Dreams come true eventually"

"I'm just saying," she said with a huge smirk on her face.

"So what does the flyer have to do with us??"

"I mean do you really think he'll pick us to work for his company????" I asked.

"Hello???"

"Hell yeah"

"You can sing and you write your "own songs" not only that, you "write poetry" as well."

"Do you know how many producers are looking for your type of talent???" she asked with concern

"I mean I write, I'm also good with dance choreography, and designing clothes but you man you're what "Famous Records" needs.

"This could be our chance to stardom" she reassured me.

"You have all those songs, and poetry."

"Gifted, it's time to let you're worth be manifested."

"It's time for the world to see your gifts."

" Soooooooo what do they want us to do I asked??"

"All we have to do is record a video, with you singing, and us dancing we could use one of your songs you wrote."

" I will create the routine for the "dance choreography."

"Then we send it in to "Famous Records." "It says we get to do three rounds.

"Each round will consist of your singing skills, dancing skills and then we get to record a song in the studio."

"The winner gets to record their own demo, a duet with the one and only "Devon Richardson."

"This is going to be epic said an even more excited Nakia."

I thought long, and hard this could be our chance to blow up.

This could be my chance to display my gifts.

This could be my chance to pursue my "career," and take it to the "next level."

Plus, I wanted to see what all the hype was about over this "Devon Richardson character" was all about.

Okay, I'm down!!!! I finally told her.

"Omg Gifted," she said hugging me and killing me with her tight hug.

Here we come "Devon Richardson," and "Famous Records."

"Get ready because we're coming for the number one spot to Fame"
