Gifted:

I was headed outside until I noticed a young woman holding her newborn child in her hands. Beside her, stood what appeared to be her husband, as he watched the new life of their newborn child.

"I often wondered why it seemed like everyone around me got to experience true love??"

"Why was it that many women around me were in a "robust relationship," or lucked up with a "good man" while I remained alone??"

I watched as the mother held her newborn like she was her "prized possession." That's what babies symbolized  "life joy, happiness, life, and hope."

Letting out a long sigh, I continued walking until the revolving doors opened.

Nakia followed me outside to join me.

"Are you okay??"  she asked as she watched the sadness on my face. 

"Yea, I'm good," I said with a smile.

"I'm glad Zahara Thomas survived" I replied.

We both nodded in agreement.

"Now they can be happy with one another," I said with sadness in my voice.

Nakia watched as the sadness keep appearing on my face.

" Then why are you so sad??" she thought to herself as she let out a long sigh.

We both started watching the sky in silence.

Zahara:

The driver walked up to Zahara Thomas.

"I'm glad you pulled through we almost thought you were a goner," he said in a jokingly manner.

"I'm very sorry for any trouble I have caused," Zahara said nervously.

"What matters is that your still here breathing" he replied.

"I have to go the police station for further questioning I'll be leaving now," he said to Zahara. "

Wait" Devon said before he stepped out the hospital room. Devon pulled out a stack of cash and handed him the money.

"Please take this" "This should cover any damage that was done to your vehicle." Sir, I can't--- "Please just take it"  If it weren't for you calling me, and retrieving her body from the vehicle she wouldn't be here."

"Thank you," Devon said in a serious tone. "If you need anything please don't hesitate to contact me," Devon told him.

The driver nodded his head, and thanked him take care of yourself he said looking at Zahara.

After that, just like that, he was gone.

"You still look gorgeous even though you were in a car accident."

"I don't know how you do it" Stevenson teased.

Zahara gave him a huge smile as he came over, and hugged her.

"Yo, Devon I'm going to head to the studio." Are you going to be good??? he asked.

"Yeah," Devon Richardson told him.
