Meeting the Ex Liver and Lover.

I stared in disbelief and the boy I was meant to be in love with, He nervously ran his fingers through his hair "It's just, My ex Kali is coming to try to win me back but I want to show her that I have moved on and I still hate her." I huffed and looked at Shane who's eyes were as large as plates.

Shane stood and came over "Harley, why don't you just go home now. I'm sure I can be put in a wig" I heard the car drive up when the smell of death engulfed us, My eyes were large and it was hard to fight from Shifting.Vampire. "Sure, why not" I smirked and Shane whisked me into the kitchen "What are you doing?!"

"Oh come on! It should be a blast when she comes in to find me." He shook his head "She never had a problem with me because I'm a Healer. Your a Warrior, It will start in a battle and Kendal will know know and this could be a disaster!" I heard the door open "Kendy Bear?" I stifled a giggle and Kendal came in to drag me to the front door. 

When I came in sight of the girl she was clearly a year or two younger than Kendal and I, so I estimated about 20 or 22. Kali was a small girl with dark brown hair with red accents, Her eyes were a dark green and skin was terribly pale. 

 I saw her jaw tighten and her nose flare as she caught sight and probably smell of me, I smirked and looked at Kendal "So this is who?" Kali expression changed from a small smile to a flat out frown "He never mentioned me?" I shook my head "I wanted to keep both relationships separate" He said as his fingers entwined mine "So what do you want Kali?" He spoke firmly, We both knew that she wanted him back from a reliable source named Shane but she shook her little head and smiled "You" I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"Kali, Were done." She made what sounded like a huff mixed with sobs as she stormed out the door. 

"Well thank you girlfriend" He made his lopsided smile as I returned it "Well boyfriend, I need you to return the favor."

I sighed and let go of his hand and started to pace around the cream colored entry room. "Well, my ex is back in town and looking for me. Like he has been for a while, I sort of beat him before I left and-" His eyebrow raised in a questioning way "Only because he was all- Long story. He deserved it, Anyway he's back and looking for me and since I played that bit for you can you be that for me?" I bit my lip nervously.

"Oh Strawberry, you thought I would say no!" He took me in a big hug and I laughed as he released "On one condition" I sighed and put my hand on my hip "One date" His lopsided smile returned "Just one to be sure your little friend doesn't ask any personal questions to be sure of us."

I glared at him but reluctantly nodded.

"A date it is then"

It was dark and cold when I began to walk home, The night with Kendal and Shane ended when Hayley called to let me know Lilly was coming by with wedding details. My boots clicked on the side walk as the lamp flickered next to me. 

I lifted my head and took in the smells, rain, cats, humans. Vampires? Before I got a chance to Shift I was brought to the ground in a crash.

I was being held down and was too restricted to Shift, I looked up to see Kali, the undead girl who's eyes were wide and red  with signs of recently crying. She hissed her fangs at me at which I returned a low growl "Kali, Just get up and go before I kick your a-" She hissed at me again "Let's cut to the chase, mutt" I growled slightly "I want him back, You let me have him back and I won't tell him who you really are" She stood with a smirk on her face, I leaped up and glared at her "I can run and tell him right now." I whispered slowly "I can always say something about Shane" I sensed the threat in her voice.

"Don't you dare do that to them" I hissed through gritted teeth.

"Just remember Harley." She began to walk away into the dark street.

"I can always change the fate with those words. 'She's Gifted'" 

Her dark hair seemed to fade away as I just collapsed on the ground in sobs.

"Harley! Your home!" Becca brought me in a hug as soon as I set foot in the house "You've been spending too much time with Kendal" Hayley crossed her arms over her shoulder and smiled "But I don't care, I've never seen you this happy with a guy that hasn't been 'Friend-Zoned' yet" I glared at her but shook my head and strutted up the stairs before anymore questions were asked.

I lay on my bed as the thoughts of today ran through my head. 

The only thing I was really nervous about was the date.

Why was I nervous.

I was never nervous.
