Chapter 11

I pull out my machete. "One last time. Get. Out. Of. My. Way!" I demand. "I'm sorry Derek. I'm afraid I can't let you kill her." said Pluto. I charge at him and swing. He ducks under me and does a back flip while kicking me. I fall on my back. "You've been taking more miracle since Lily's death have you?" He asks, Pluto knew about my habit back in the White Fang.

Him and only him. "How'd you know?" I ask, getting back up. "You would've dodged it. Your reflexes are slower." I swing at him and our weapons clash. I can feel the fire of his katana. "Does Ruby know about your problem?" he asks, "Shut up!" I exclaim, I kick his stomach. When he bended forward I knee his face. I then diagonally slash him with a spin attack, then upward slash, spin kick, and turn my machete into a shotgun and fired.

Pluto flies back but lands on his feet. He changes his dust katana into ice. He slashes his katana in the air shooting out icepicks. I block it with my arm, but one stabbed through my arm, and two in my leg. Pluto then charges at me. I shoot my shotgun again and he falls back. I sheath my machete and pull out the icepicks in my leg. Pluto jumps at me with downward attack.

I lean to the left his katana slightly cutting my cheek. I did a spin kick, and shot at him while I did a spin slash attack. I then turn my shotgun into a machete and we start swinging. Our weapons clashing with Pluto's katana freezing my machete on each hit. I try to activate level 1 of my semblance but the extra doses of Miracle are preventing me from getting aggressive. I duck under one of his attack and do a sweep attack causing him to fall on his back.

I jump up in the air for an attack but Pluto rolls out the way. Once I landed he knees my face. I do a series of attacks but Pluto casually dodges all of them. "How the hell are you doing all this?! You're blind!" I exclaim, "Fuck you that's how." he says. He blocks one my attacks with his katana. Even though Miracle has weakened me a bit I'm still stronger than him.

As it looked like I was going to win the power struggle Pluto feels my arm and pulls out the icepick that was still lodge in. I scream in pain as Pluto goes for the attack. I set up my machete for a block. Pluto switches his katana to fire and brakes through my frozen machete. "Son of a bitch! This was a new weapon, you asshole!" I exclaim. I then change into a shotgun. I fired a couple shots at him. The first one got him but he dodge the rest.

Pluto goes for a kick attack, but I block it with my arm. I moan in pain when he kicked my stabbed arm. When he landed he does a swipe attack, but I pull a matrix and lean back. I then fall on my back I take this chance to kick his knee. Pluto screams in pain as he grabs his dislocated knee. I take this chance to shoot him in the face. He goes flying back into some crates. During this small break I look up at where the boss's office use to be before this place was abandoned. Ursula was there watching the fight.

I turn around to have Pluto tackle me. He raises his katana in the air and goes for the stab. I grab the katana blade before it could hit my chest. Pluto struggles to stab me as his katana cuts my hand and burns it. My body struggles to activate my semblance. Pluto switches his katana to lighting dust and electrocutes me. I let go and roll out the way, but Pluto manage to cut my side. The pain was enough to activate level 1. I run up to Pluto, do a front flip over him, grab his coat, and throw him to an other room of the factory.

I hit my wound to keep the adrenaline pumping and stay on level 1. I kick the door open to see Pluto is still on the floor. I grab his neck, lift him up, slam him on a table, drag him across it, and throw him at a wall. I hit my wound two or three times. I grab him by the throat and start to strangle him. He reaches into his coat, pulls out a needle of Miracle and injects it into me. I drop him as my adrenaline fades and my semblance deactivates.

I drop down on all threes and cough out blood, I look at broken glass to see my reflection. My good eye is bloodshot. I look up to see Pluto is feeling for a weapon. Without any strength to get up, I crawl out the room and towards my shotgun. My vision slowly fades as I make my way there. After going through the broken glass and dirt. I reach for my gun only to have Pluto's katana stab my hand.
