"If what?" asked the young cop, "Nothing, I'll just set you two up." I said. I feel great, in fact I think I have control. I don't feel like killing or drinking the blood of the innocent. I just feel like myself. I sit back with Emma.

"Hey Emma, that guy you called cute. He thinks you're pretty, you two should bang." I said, "You actually told him I thought he was cute?" said a surprised Emma, "Yeah, and you should actually try to stay with this one. I mean, remember how happy Kate and Nathan looked together? Wouldn't it be nice to be with someone you love and have that someone love you back?"

Emma gave me a funny look, "When did you become the romantic type?" she asked, "I have feelings too. I'm more than just a killing machine." I said, "Yeah, but that coming out of you and from a level one you at that." she said still surprised, then a smile crept up, "It's because of Ruby isn't it?" she asked. Oh fuck, not this shit again.

Emma noticed my silence, "Now that I think of it. You do give her googly eyes from time to time." She said, she scoots closer and whispers in my ear, "Mating season is coming, you have anyone on your mind?" aaand I'm out! I get off my seat and started walking away, "It's okay Derek, you can't have kids so you fill Ruby as much as you want!" she teases across the station, "I'm ignoring you!" I responded.

When I got back to Beacon I went straight to my dorm room. I also bought some stuff on the way. When I got there, I set a plate of cookies and a glass of milk for Ruby. I get out my book of fables, laid on the bed, Buffy hopped on my chest, and I started reading.

As I read my book as I slowly drift off to sleep. I finally give in and knock out, my dreams wander to old memories. I was with Wilhelm and his platoon scouting out a small village. "See that village over there?" He asks. I look at the village through binoculars, I then pass it to the soldier next to me.

"We're going to invade it and make it our own." he said. That small village? What's the purpose? It's not military base, a weapons factory, or an important place that could damage the morale of humans. "Excuse me Wilhelm, sir?" I said, "What is it, soldier?" he asks, "What's the purpose of attacking this place?" I ask.

"This village is filled with humans. There are so many faunus that don't have a home, that have to sleep in rain, use newspapers as blankets, use cardboard as beds. While pieces of shits like them have a roof over their head, three warm meals a day, have a relaxing shower, and we have live outside like animals. It's time we get live like actual people." After that small speech I was still a bit skeptical.

When this happened I was still a bit new to the White Fang, so I wasn't okay with murder as I am now. "We going to attack at night, so their burning homes can light up the night sky." He said, "Why burn down the homes?" I ask, "We're going to rebuild it. By faunus, for faunus." he answers. That night we attacked. I was armed with a flamethrower.

A couple other faunus were with me, armed with rifles. We wait for the first shot to be fired. I look at the defenseless town and wonder if what I'm doing is right. Is this revolutionary or terrorism? Am I fighting for equal rights or to be the superior race? But only one question bugged me when I first joined the White Fang. What would Celia think of me, if she saw me now?

Shots are fired and screams start coming, my group then charged to attack. I put on my gas mask and started torching the houses. Humans run out the building screaming as their flesh slowly burns. I move on to the next building, walking over dead bodies of humans. The sounds of gunfire ringing in my ears. I aim the flamethrower at the house and burn it. I see a woman run towards the exit, but debris fell and blocked it.

She screams for help as the flames slowly consume her. I toss an incendiary grenade at one of the smaller houses. I then notice more humans are out the buildings. I then spray fire on them, burning them alive. The blood curdling screams still haunt me. The villagers then start fighting back, but it was useless. They had bows and arrows, we had guns. Of course one of arrows hit my shoulder between the cracks of my armor.
I pull the arrow out and turn to see a teenager telling his mother and little sister to run. He shoots an other arrow at me, but I burn it to ash midair. I then burn him. He screams in agonizing pain as runs around in panic until dropping to the ground. I walk to the next house, humans barely alive are desperately crawling to anywhere safe.
