Death and a Boat

The next day, things are silent. More silent than usual. I wake up and stretch my arms. I get up and walk out my tent. I see that everyone is gathered around the camp, talking. I walk over and I see a devastated look on Jack's face.

"What's going on?" I ask Jack.
"Shannon and Boone are dead and Walt is missing.", Jack says sadly.
"What happened?!" I ask.
"Someone raided our camp." Kate replies
"We need to move somewhere else, where they wouldn't find us." I say.
"Yeah, but where in the hell to?" Sawyer says.
"We need to get off the island." Hugo says
"There's no possible way to."John says.

Sayid and Michael walk over to us.

"Were going after them." Sayid tells us.
"What do you mean going after them?" Jack asks.
"Were going to look for my son and kill every last one of them!" Michael says.
"Look, I know your son is missing and Sayid they killed your girlfriend, but if we all don't stick together than were all going to die." Sawyer says.
"It's not your call." Sayid says.
"Just let them go." I say.
"Who put you in charge, pucker lips?" Sawyer asks.
"I did." Jack says.
"You're going to let her call the shots?" Sawyer asks.
"If you have a problem with that, why don't you go join Sayid and Michael?" I say.
"Fine." Sawyer says.
"If he goes than I go." Kate says.
"Who wants to tag along?" Sawyer says.
"I'll go." Charlie says as he looks at me.
"Me too." Claire says as she hugs Charlie's side.
"Anyone else?!" Sawyer yells. Alright let's move.
"They're going to die out there." Hugo says.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Desmond says.
"So what's the plan Lilly?" Jack asks me.

Everyone in the group looks at me.

"We head to the caves, maybe they don't know about the water cave." I say.
"We should pack everyone's stuff up and move it to the caves." Jack tells us.

We all take down our tents and move our stuff in to the caves.

"We need to stay put so they don't come after us." Jack says.
"So were going to stay in the caves all day?" Bernard says.
"Yes, Bernard listen to the man." Rose says.
"Isn't that a stupid idea, to stay put?" Were sitting ducks. Bernard disagrees.
"I agree." Desmond says.
"Okay, you know what, let's go out in to the jungle and get our self's killed why don't we?" I angrily say. If you have any better ideas, please speak up.
"I say we go to the jungle." Desmond says.
I calm down and I listen to Desmond.
"Okay, everyone load up." Jack says.

Everyone grabs a gun and we head in to the jungle. We walk deeper and deeper in to the jungle when suddenly we here rustling around in the bushes. Everyone ducks down and points there gun. Two woman and a man walk out. The one woman points her gun at us.

"Woah, woah who are you people?" The one woman says.
"Are you the others?" I ask.
"No, we thought you guys were the others." So you're not part of the others? The other woman asks.
"No, we are trying to stay away from them, they kidnapped us yesterday, we escaped, but they just raided our camp not that long ago and killed two of our people." Jack says.
"They killed our people too." Where did you guys come from?
"We crashed a couple months ago we were on Oceanic flight 815." Jack says.
"We, were on there too." The one woman says.
"We thought everyone from the front section died?" The other woman asks.
"We thought everyone from the tail section died." Jack says.
"Well, we didn't." My name is Anna Lucia, this is Libby and Mr. Eko.

We all introduce our self's and we continue walking.

"So where are we headed to?" Anna Lucia asks.
"I'm not really sure, just far away from here." Jack says.
"We saw a boat, that's where we were headed." Anna Lucia says.
"There's a boat?" Jack asks.
"Yes, but I'm sure the others have something to do with it." Anna Lucia says.
"Let's go see." I say.
"Too dangerous." Anna says.
"It's too dangerous out here, we can't continue to keep walking like this." I say.
"Fine." Anna says.

We all follow Anna and we find the boat.

"That's my boat!" Desmond says.
"That's your boat?" I ask.
"Yes, my wife could be on it!" Its her boat! He says.
"Wife?" I question.

I take a step back and I loose touch with reality, I think I hear my heart shatter a million pieces.

Desmond runs to the boat and everyone follows him, but John.

I stand there crossing my arms.

"What's wrong Lilly?" Don't you want to get on the boat? John asks.
"I thought I loved him." I say.
"I didn't know you had a thing for him?" John says.
"Yep, I even admitted it to him." I add.
"Well, if you stay than I'll stay with you." He smiles.
"Why?" I ask.
"There's nothing there for me, my dad took my kidney and paralysed my legs." My mom is crazy and the love of my life doesn't want to see me.
"What do you mean paralysed your legs?" You can walk. I ask.
"Before the crash I couldn't walk I was in a wheel chair and I think the island is special in a way." He says.
"What do you mean special?" I ask.
"It heals." He says.
"It also kills and makes my life hell." I add.
"What do you mean, you're alive that's all that matters." He says.
"I rather be dead, than handle this pain." I say as I walk away back in to the jungle.

I hear foot steps and I see Jack and John walk after me.

"Come on, Lilly let's get on the boat." Jack says.
"I can't." I say.
"Why?" Jack asks.
"No one loves me." I say.
"Charlie did." John says.
"He controlled me, he never loved me." I say.

Moments later I see Desmond walk to us.

"Penny isn't on the boat." He says.
"Good." I mumble as I walk away.
"She's not coming." Jack says.
"Why?" Desmond asks.
"Just come on." Jack says.

Jack and Desmond run to the boat and John follows me.

I hear John follow me and I turn around. I see him and I walk toward him.

"Tell Desmond that I love him." I say as I walk away.
"I told you, that I'm not going on the boat.", He says.
"Then if you don't than I'll know that no one loves me." I say.
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"Just go." I say.

John runs to the boat and jumps on.

I walk deep in to the jungle and I head to the water caves.
