CHAPTER THEEE

Adams P.O.V

It's been six months. The time crawled by, I still can't believe she friend-zoned me but I'm okay with it, in the end I'm getting to be her boyfriend. These months have been torture, watching her pretend that there's nothing between us, I know she feels it too, the spark when we touch. (Oh my god cliche alert)

I just hope that after these long months she's ready to admit her feelings and go out with me.

On the way to school I turn to her and grab her hands like last year, take a breath and begin.

"Kate, these past six months have been torture for me. I know you feel it too, the attraction between us. So will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

Kate's P.O.V

"......Will you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?"

He asked me, I didn't think he would remember, but apparently he did and chose to ask me again. I've thought about 'us' a lot over the past months, and I think we could give it a try, but I'm still not positive.

"Adam. I want to say yes, I really do, but I don't want to risk our friendship. I'm going to say yes but we are going to take it slow and if we break up, I want us to still be friends. If you can agree to that, than I think we can do this."

There I did it. now its just up to him. Does he want to risk our friendship for something bigger, or does he want to play it safe and stay friends?

I honestly hope he will want to be something more. I still beat myself up about rejecting him six months ago, but I wanted to know if he really wanted to do this, and it looks like he did.

"Kate, how could I ever say no to you. Ever since I saw you the first day of kindergarten I knew. I wanted to be friends with you. I could never imagine that we'd end up being more, but here we are eleven years later and about to do this. So I say, bring it on world, and let's do this."

He says all of this while smiling and I know my smile is wider than my whole face. Like he says, Bring it on world.

At school

STILL KATE'S P.O.V.

When we get to school, we walk in hand in hand, and when my fiends spot is together they smile and wink at me. They have known that I liked him since the beginning, freshman year.

My best friend, Paige, comes up to us and states, "Ok, sorry Adam, but we girls need some catch up time so, shoo."

We both start laughing and Adam does as he is told and leaves us alone for some much-needed girl time. As soon as he's gone she drags me over to the others.

I know the girls are dying to know all the juicy details, so I spill all the beans. Immediately I can tell that they're all happy for me. This is why I love them.
