Summer '09 (was life)

Chapter Eight

Lindsay Lohan is going to be Abigail.

Ok guys so this is kinda the rest of the party and some other stuff. But mostly the party and what happens afterward. also this party takes place on the Friday of the first day of school, the first chapters were the past year and the first day of school we skipped the rest of the week.

As we sit at the table, we eat a ton of food. Even though I had eaten dinner with Adam not even two hours earlier, I was still starved. We ate every kind of junk food imaginable, from chips to cookies.

After we finish eating, Paige drags me to her car where she has a dress for me to change into, seeing as I'm still in my school clothes.

She brought me a white dress with lacy stuff on top of the fabric and some silver glittery heels. I quickly change into them in the backseat of her car.

When I'm finished reapplying my make up we reenter the party. She spots her boyfriend, Michael standing with Adam in the far back corner and we immediately walk over to them. When Adam sees me with her, his smile grows and he intertwines our fingers.

The four of us head out to the dance floor and we dance to the music, me beside Adam and her by Michael. Our other friends soon join us and we all have a good time, showing off goofy dance moves to each other.

About an hour later the clock strikes midnight and the crowd begins to lessen. The crew that set up begins to take down all the decorations and the abandoned wear house returns to just that.

Adam and I say goodbye to the others and head out to his car. He opens my door for me, after I retrieve my school clothes from Paige's car, and we begin the drive back to my house.

We get to my house around twelve thirty and Adam comes in with me. We head up to my bedroom and he deposits my crap onto my bead.

After he does this, he turns to me and states, "Kate, this past week has been amazing. I think we made the right decision to me more than friends. I hope this last for awhile, because I couldn't bear breaking your heart. I love YOU, Katherine Amanda, forever and always."

I break down into tears at his caring words. He notices and comes and envelops my body in a hug. He walks backward steadily towards the bed and sits down on the edge, pulling me with him. I bury my head into his chest and cry. He kisses the top of my head and just says loving words to me. This is why he is the BEST best friend/ boyfriend in the world.

Once I have stopped crying, its already one in the morning, and he just doesn't feel like driving home. I propose that he sleeps on the couch that I have in my room, and he agrees that that would be better than driving the ten minutes to his house. I toss and extra pillow and some blankets at him and go into my bathroom to change into my pjs.

When I come back into my room, I see a shirtless and very attractive Adam sitting on my couch. I lay down on my bed and pull my blankets up to my chin and he comes over to kiss me goodnight.

After he does this he turns my light off and lays down on my couch. Quickly all I can hear are his soft snores. This calming noise is the last thing I hear before I drift off to sleep.

Should I make the chapters longer or are they good how they are? Im having a lot of fun writing this and can't believe I'm actually sticking to this book. this is already chapter eight, just WOW. So yeah pirates are BAD, but cruise ships are GOOD. BAI PEOPLES.
